"Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest." ~~ John 4: 35

In response to the economic crisis, this is what business minister, Baroness Vadera had to say:

"I am seeing a few green shoots but it's a little bit too early to say exactly how they'd grow." ~~ 'Green Shoots' remarks defended

There was a furore over her remarks and she was even accused of being insensitive to people who were in financial dire straits.

Yeah, how dare the Baroness see a light at the end of the tunnel when we are in a financial crisis! How dare she have a vision! Shame on her for being so bloody optimistic!

What if the Rev Martin Luther King J didn't have a dream of equality for everyone? Would Americans have voted for their first black President?

What would have happened if during slavery the slaves had just accepted the experience as their lot in life or their karma? They would have been stuck in that state for centuries. It was only those with a vision of freedom that ended up freeing those slaves.

Many years ago I had an injury in one knee that made it painful to walk. Sometimes my knee would just give way. I hopped from one specialist/therapist to another seeking a cure. I even studied some healing techniques and still no joy. After I had depleted my resources I prayed for another way of seeing. I was instantly "shown" a vision of myself running. I have to admit it was difficult for me to accept myself running giving that I couldn't walk without pain. One day that vision became my reality when I was inspired to run for a bus. From that moment onwards my knee was healed. That's the power of having a vision.

I believe all explorers and pioneers have one thing in common - they can all see beyond what is accepted as the norm at the time. Pioneers and explorers are the dreamers of tomorrow; they can see an entire desert covered in green shoots.

Thank you, Baroness Vadera, for daring to be a dreamer. I stand with you in agreement. I see a great harvest and prosperity for all.
