Sure, it will cause all kinds of hassle and probably a lot of death and destruction, and maybe as the level of living drops in 3rd world countries they will swarm up to the places they believe have all the resources, like the USA, and destroy everything in their march path, and the militaries in their way will pull out all their worse weapons to kill them en mass, and yet that won't stop them and eventually humans will be as rare as dodos.

But never less, all of that is still irrelevant. They are all symptoms, not the cause.

Because if it is not the oil, or the global warming, or radioactive pollution, or world wide war, it will be something for sure. And the only solution has nothing to do with any of the threats. The only solution is a change in what is called 'common sense'. A sense which is common. It's almost as rare as dodos, I think, and frankly, what most people call 'common sense' is merely their particular blinders keeping them from paying attention to anything but what they were taught to notice.

But the world is not made up of our 'common sense'. The world is common, but we don't really make any sense out of it. If it was really what we sensed, physically sensed, which is common, and not what we filter our senses with, then we would, en mass, change the world quite quickly. But we are, as a species, very habitual. We have these blinders called 'practicality' and 'rationality' and other variable sense filters which obscure almost everything that would really work.

It's not about thinking outside the box... It's about not seeing the box at all, and going with what we do see... which is undivided and undifferentiated.

I see that there is no separation between Humanity and Nature. I see no separation between people. I see that we are totally interdependent, relying on each other, no matter what we think. I see that we do better when we take care of each other than when we don't. I see that the hassle is in our minds, not in Nature.

We live in Paradise. The only thing wrong with this place, this world, is what people have in their minds. It is said we use only 10% of our brains... but I say we use only 10% of the interdependence which keeps us all alive and flourishing. It is the loss of that 90% of potential interdependence that is destroying the environment, killing people for resources, causing horror upon horror, both personally in people's lives and socially, in the world en mass. That is the cause of the terminal illness.

That common sense, that perception, of interdependence is what is relevant. Only that.

In all other organizations, one idiot hassler can spoil the whole experience and the results of the experience simply by hassling everyone. A charismatic powermonger can con everyone and get agreement to be put in a position of power where he or she can spoil everything, ruin the effort of a whole group. Jeeze, I've seen that many times, dozens at least.

A Geodemocracy prevents such a 'hassler' or 'powermonger' from influencing anything in the organization, and since there are no 'power positions', they cannot work themselves into a position to mess up anything. They are equal by position, and that position cannot become a thorn in the side of the democracy.

One of the CIA's most basic control strategies for breaking up groups is to infiltrate two or more agents into the organization and the agents help work each other up into positions of power, where they then start separating people into subgroups which oppose each other, eventually destroying the unity of the organization through internal disagreement. I've seen that done also.

There are no positions of power beyond each individual in the Geodemocracy, so this also has no effect at all. And there is no way any outside group, or even government, could shut down a large geodemocracy, even if it has no function as a government but is just an organization to do good among humanity and the environment. A Geodemocracy would likely do things the governments should do but don't, and being a benefit to any government pretty much makes that organization liked by that government.

The geometry of a Geodemocracy would judo almost anything that might corrupt it, the way steel is not damaged by wax, even hot wax. The characteristics of the materials themselves prevent corruption, and the interaction causes no harm. Human Nature is every way humans can be, but the geometry does not allow interaction with the aspects of human nature which easily messes up all the other forms of government or organization.

The marketplace is the only place they have any say so, and even then, companies pay big money to advertisers because they can guarantee sales, because the advertisers have applied science to the act of simply stating what products someone has to sell. They are so good at making people subconsciously want what they are selling that 'free will' barely exists in most people anymore. (And most people would probably argue that point, even as they buy what they are told to buy. If it didn't work, how could the advertisers guarantee results?)

People are manipulated, controlled, intimated, and otherwise set to what the powers that be want them to do. They think what they are told to think by the media, they buy what the advertisers want them to buy, their attention is set into place like their minds have a coating of cement, and because of the illogic of all the existing systems, the planet is spiraling down into the karma, the results, of that control. This power of the 'rulers' comes from knowing and working on scales of mass control most people are not even aware of.

We cannot afford to let it continue.

If you knew that someday someone would set off a nuclear bomb in the neighborhood you live in, would you live there? If you thought that the water coming from your tap will someday become sewage slush, would you drink it? If you knew that the people who say they represent you would sell you out in a fast flash, would you let them represent you? Or do you just toss your hands in the air and say "So what? I can't do anything about it!"?

We tend to let the future take care of itself. This is suicidal. It far out reaches the damage of drugs and alcohol and all the other social ills we face everyday. And we accept them also. There is nothing we can do about it because there is no system which can leverage sane responses to those problems.

We don't need to accept anything. We can create a system which can something about it.

The existing political systems exist essentially no differently than any monarchy in the past. They are top down hierarchies which use force to carry out their plans. America, Germany, England, China, where ever you look, you find the same kind of hierarchy, just tagged with different jargon and nomenclature. President = King = CEO = Prime Minister = Chairman = whatever you want to call them... they all have some kind of illusion that the people somehow pick them and support them. But the world shows that their decision making is irrelevant to survival, and relevant only to their political agendas. usually those agendas either support someone rich or some ideology which could not work even if everyone held them sacred.

But what would happen if everyone actually had some ability to make the decisions which affect their lives and their children's lives?

You love your children. You work hard to feed them, to clothe them, to make sure they stay healthy... so why can't you see the need to create a world for them worth living in? A lot of people who see the way the world is slowly falling apart say "We can only hope our children will do better..." but why should the children do better? Their parents didn't.

The Geodemocracy is just an idea right now. It is just a way that people could connect together to make decisions together then carry them out with Projects they support. There is no requirement for consensus, no elections of representatives, no way someone can intimate anyone into doing things or not doing things, and religions, politics, and all the old systems are irrelevant to a Geodemocracy.

And most of all, it is uncorruptible by interior or exterior social forces. It's incorruptible because it side steps the forces which are used to control our lives. Trying to corrupt it would be like trying to nail a marshmallow into a stone brick. By it's very essence, a geodemocracy is something that nobody can get purchase on to change in any direction, bad or good. It's made of individuals, but no individual can change it or corrupt it. It exceeds the perimeter of all past ways of doing anything, so it is simply beyond the old grasp of the powerful or the political maniacs.

Yes, there is one real drawback, if you see it that way. It requires more of your attention than past organizational models. It takes two hours a day, five days a week for people to run their world, not fifteen minutes every four years like when you go to 'vote'. In a way, it's an attempt to grow a nervous system for the planet, to apply free will to scales most people never usually even think about. It is the only real expression of "Of the People, By the People, For the People" that can ever exist.

A Geodemocracy makes the decisions, generating Projects which do the work. The Geodemocracy is multi-generation, ever growing and becoming smarter, while Projects last only the time they need to do a task, then dissolve. That way no Project can become a hierarchy and therefore a problem.

It's worth doing, this idea. It's time, past time, for people to take control of their world. That which you ignore and don't care about has a tendency to reach into your personal live and shake you like a dog shaking a bone. Depressions, wars, poverty, crime... how many manage to escape these results of the past ways of doing things? Not many, and more and more all those will become evident in your life, like it or not.

We must break the cycles of stupidity and insanity, and get together to do something more about it than neighborhood watch meetings or mailing letters to our 'representatives' or joining news-grabbing disruptive social protest groups. We can do more than standing holding signs or signing petitions or cursing the decisions by 'elected' political officials and the bureaucracy.

Think about it.

Geodemocracy Site

Created on ...
People either think the Universe is just existing in their whimsical little egos or they are in a Universe that far exceeds their little minds and bodies. Either way, this is a challange to all of you...

 The Survivable Path

Here's what has to happen to bring about
the kind of world that could actually fit
the basic concept of 'SANITY'
which is almost a synonym of 'SURVIVABILITY'.

Certain basic concepts and social structures have to fade away. (Not be conquered, not be forced, not be redirected, but actually fade away without opposition through individuals changing their minds and actions, en mass.)

There are four strategies which can bring Survivablity about.
Each is a basic of our culture which has to be turned on it's head, or the current practices will become the forces which destroy us all.

Nations... Not to be replaced by a traditional global government, the practice of delegating, or being forced by violence and threat to delegate, the individual's power to a 'official' group of people must end.

Military... The ancient and highly organized subculture of gangsters calling themselves the Military has to dissolve completely.

Economics... The use of symbols and an irrelevant and spurious evaluation of everything in terms of those conceptually rootless symbols has to end. The concept of 'exchange' between individuals is a falsehood which humanity cannot sustain in the long run. Everything comes from the ecosystem of this planet, including humans. The 'worth' of everything is a function of it's existance, and not something which has worth only in terms of human conceptuality and use.

Advertising and Entertainment... in terms of psychological manipulation, must end.

The all pervading socially promoted but actually insubstantial concepts of 'Rights' must evolve into something balanced with the perception of the ecosystem as the basic support system for all life on the planet. The concept of 'property' must fade into a use basis rather than an absolute 'right'. Without this change in the concepts of 'Rights', all other changes, of any kind, will be futile and eventually, as the ecosystem fails, humanity will become extinct.

All changes must come from the evolving perceptions and actions of the individual, however, and not forced through any violence or threat of violence. This is required or the results will not fulfill the requirements of a survive-able future.

Only a good means will create a good result.

Delegation of individual power to all heirarchies and institutions like governments, militaries, corporations, and organized churches is First of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

The solution to the problem of social control is the development and use, en mass, of geodesic democracy.

Only humanity as a whole can make the kinds of decisions necessary to save this ecosystem, not a few handfuls of egocentric, greedy, power hungry morons with enough money and lying silver tongues to get mindblinded followers to support them. With real democracy, geodesic democracy, we can run the world without all the stupidity!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Second, the development and use of geometrically manufactured comprehensively designed livingry, the technology of living, on massive scales.

The current concepts of totally blind expedient manufacturing has such waste built in, messes up the environment so badly by not factoring it in, and holds back so much development of environmentally intelligent technology, (not to mention the total waste... no, the antilife technology called 'weaponry',) that amid plenty, millions starve and a billion goes without basic survival requirements... and they are not starving because it is some act of God, but because the people in power either deliberately plan for their deaths or don't give a shit, and drive the conditions which kill all those people, all the while killing the ecosystem at the same time. The ultimate 'RIGHT' is the right to live on the planet and get what we need from it to do so! Technology (like food, water, air, and our lives themselves,) comes from Nature FREE, and can provide for everyone freely WITHOUT DESTROYING THE ECOLOGY OF OUR WORLD!

The misuse of Nature-derived technology is the Second Horseman of the Apocalypse...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Third, the development and use of educational strategies which teach the actual relationship of humans to the ecosystem and each other.

The spurious superstition taught by the academic subculture, stranded in it's intellectual masturbation based upon thought as the supreme seat of existence is just plain stupid. Universe is the supreme seat of existence, and the clinging to ego centered concepts of separate realities, or chaos beyond ego, leads only to spurious assumptions which led to the current global situation. It's not an accident that every meeting of people who claim the delegated power to make decisions about everyone else's lives are all taught within the same subculture, taught the same superstitions, and cling to the same cause/effect processes which are destroying the planet. Hell, the leaders of the world are all products of the same subculture, with the same limits to thought and totally impractical concepts of 'practicality'. The chambers of power are seas of 'suits' and while not all who wear suits are mindblinded by the subculture, those who are admitted into power wear those suits as uniforms of insanity. The future of Humanity must not remain in the hands of those who only repeat the stupidity of the past!

This subculturally taught body of mixed superstition and knowledge is the Third Horseman of the Apocalypse.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And what is the fourth Horseman?

He is the common, deliberately socially created, concept of division between people that convinces people that despite the obvious connection in all ways between us, we are totally separate and all power resides purely within each one of us. It ignores the easily observable fact that everything, including our individual power, is useful only in synergy, not as illusionary separate individuals. If this 'division paradigm' continues to be the most basic axiom of human behavior, the result will be eventual dissolution of the ecosystem and therefore, humanity itself. It must become commonly understood that the difference between the individual and the social group is scalar, not in competition, that while being unique individuals, we are still One, and require each other to survive. The differences are natural and must be respected on all scales!

This --socially amplified to the Nth degree-- illusion of being separate from each other and the ecology of the planet is the Fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are all One.

Like it or not! Face it or know your children and grandchildren and great grandchildren unto all the future could die or never exist because you choose to ignore it.
