Authorities who deal with world and local affairs are those with special qualifications in various fields of influence that relate to false practices and principles of existing reality.

Earth is a planet that supports many instinct-driven species of life. Dominant is the human species which has developed chiefly by the misapplication of its high intelligence to those competitive drives of instinct – to the Machine – frequently with disastrous consequences.

The Machine has built, imposed and sustained our existing concept of reality but, I repeat, it is the wrong reality, not informed by our true intelligence, yet its principles and practices have become the foundation of our thought and action. Therefore we, as we presently stand, are unfit to comprehend our real problems and needs or to perceive, meet and solve them truly.

We humans require to acknowledge that in effect we have two minds; the conscious, subservient to the Machine, and the postconscious whose function is truth and which should represent an intelligent species such as we. All postconscious minds are free and independent and all have the potential to discover and realise truth, but this potential is largely ignored by the conscious.

Surely our current way of thinking should be abandoned, because though it may argue brilliantly in terms of the Machine and its politics and finances, it is irrelevant because not guided by moral awareness of humantruth.

This book records the full findings of one free and independent postconscious mind. It acknowledges that the human race faces all kinds of disaster. It cherishes the hope that the survivers learn from their tragic experiences, establishing a new and simpler humantrue way of life worldwide; intelligent, appropriate and sustainable.

Having drawn your attention to this book. I hope you will be kind enough to let me have your reaction to it

This enables him to see beyond the narrow ideologies which confine groups in society today and to understand, for example, why members of professional and other establishments fall short in their presumed role of serving the needs of mankind. But there is a way forward and John has found it: a new way of thinking using much more of the brain – for which he is obliged to coin the new word ‘intellation’ – so that we can at last move onwards in our pursuit of ‘humantruth’. This is a truly mind-expanding book, arguably the most important book ever written.

Margaret Swift
M.A. Education Studies (University of Loughborough)

The Vital Necessity for Agreement

It is noticeable that in the interchange of thoughts and ideas within and between all departments and institutions of this reality there is a disposition to disagree. Politics depends upon disagreement, and philosophy is devoted to it. Disagreement persistently features in the articles and comments published by independent radical thinkers. Disagreement seems to be a way of life that involves a point of honour. We appear to regard it as a strength to hold firmly to our beliefs and opinions yet we know that there are always widespread differences between the positions that we take up. Since only one position can be completely true, broadly speaking, it follows that the rest of the beliefs and opinions must be incomplete and untenable.

In our present reality we may make decisions not on the grounds of moral truth but according to the numbers voting for or against. We also attempt to settle arguments by debate, which more often than not ends in unsatisfactory compromise because agreement, between many differently convinced factions, is impossible.

The solution to this problem is really quite simple. The basis of agreement is humantruth, which is the function of the postconscious mind, arrived at by correlating everything essential with everything else essential. All of us have travelled a certain way along the road to humantruth. On reaching each part-way stage on the road we are prone to identify that as our truth, unless and until we move on. But we do not attain whole humantruth until we reach the very end of that road.

When we have done all that correlating and reached the end of the road, we shall know whole humantruth. This truth does not belong to us – it is ultimately the same for everyone and nobody owns it. It is unlikely that all of us shall arrive at whole humantruth at the same time, but those who have will know they have, and their beliefs and opinions, whether or not immediately accepted or adopted, shall have the utmost value. By the same token, if we have not arrived at whole humantruth we will know that too, and will decline to present our opinions or beliefs as fully true.

It might be thought that we have neither the time nor capacity for all that correlating, but consider how much falsity we are conditioned by and attached to in our present lives. Think how much time we spend in reviewing, confirming and referring to that falsity in this present reality. Rather than build truth we persistently add fuel to the fires of unfinished reason. To arrive at humantruth in the midst of this wrong reality will be a daunting task. It involves breaking up the Machine and clearing away a mass of untruth. But subsequently, as falsity is rejected and humantruth built up, and as we steadily approach the road’s end, that task will become progressively easier and agreement more readily established.

This is the case even when one participant has made a breakthrough but the other has not. If there is to be meaningful communication between them, both participants must have made significant true breakthrough.

This demonstrates that the voluminous writing, talking and film making influences the continuance of this wrong reality’s thought and action on the part its institutions in the conduct of world affairs and their shaping of public opinion.

But new ground is being broken within the free and independent minds of growing numbers of individuals whose developing truths seem to be somehow inter-communicated through the ether, perhaps unconsciously using such as holography or morphogenetic fields. Experience suggests that this is the case, and that it is an accelerating process.

This challenging book asks, and answers the question why?, when we are a species endowed with undoubtedly high itelligence, do we live our lives unintelligently?

THE WRONG REALITY by John Bapty Oates – brief introduction

"This challenging book examines the state of the human mind and world, carrying essential thought further than ever before and making the profound discovery that what we regard as our mind is in effect two minds, the conscious and the postconscious (unconscious describes a state of mind).

The brain mutation that made us human gave our existing conscious mind much increased capacity yet allowed it to remain motivated chiefly by instinct.

As the result the human race, despite high intelligence, has mainly applied itself to pursuing and developing the unintelligent competitive drives of instinct, responding to market forces, political and other pressures, continually causing man’s inhumanity to man.

But mutation provided a large surplus mental capacity that was sidelined and ignored by the conscious. This uncommitted, powerful reasoning capability formed itself into the postconscious mind, the source of conscience, with freedom and independence to follow its own unconstrained course.

The function of a free conglomeration of neurons, axons, dendrites, synapses etc can only be the ultimate discovery of truth. No other function makes sense. Clearly, then, the objective of our chief faculty, the postconscious, is truth, and such an intelligent species as ourselves needs to be guided by that truth (ie to be supraconscious), recognising it as the basis of complete agreement and cooperation, to be realised in a new world community.

Instead, guided by instinct, we have subjected ourselves to the Machine and its amoral Wrong Reality, with some good but also many immoral, crazy, painful and devastating consequences".

Outside the courtroom, surrounded by cameramen, the murdered man’s wife and family describe how they fought tooth and nail to have the guilty man arrested and punished. The cameras home in on their emotionally stressed faces, enough to bring tears to the eyes of the viewing public

Events do not occur for no reason. Murder might be committed for a material reason such as robbery, or to silence a witness, or out of extreme jealousy. It might be prompted by other strong emotional urges, such as to prove manhood conferred by possession of a knife or gun, or for revenge, or to strike a blow against a society that denies us freedom and equal opportunity.

All these reasons can be related to the Machine and its influences. In an ideal community that did not support a competitive money economy there would be no real motive to rob. Any crime would be self-confessed and require no witnesses or battles for justice. Feelings such as jealousy would be tempered by communal trust and would carry less weight than repugnance for violence such as murder

The relatives of crime victims normally feel compelled to seek punishment for the perpetrators, although doubtful that it does any good in the long run. There is more concern now to rehabilitate criminals and more recognition of some causes of crime like unsatisfactory upbringing, but it is not generally admitted that the whole structure and nature of the Machine is not only the cause of crime but is also the main provider of both incentives and opportunities for it.

The following comment was posted by Samantha on 6 Sep 2006 on my post Wrong Reality dated 22 Aug 2006

”I had the most extraordinary experience of my life on 22-8-06. I woke up with the words 'individual responsibility' booming in my head. I started typing at my computer and wrote about how IR was a 'lost reality' for man and how (with all our material self created 'needs') we are living in the 'wrong reality'. When I Googled IR, I found John Bapty Oates' chapter 41 which matched immaculately with what was in my head at the time.”

In a further comment on Samantha’s comment I suggested that this experience was a matter of our thinking coinciding but later on said “This is not to deny that other forces might be at work.” Anyone interested in the possibility of such forces but, like me, not well acquainted with them, might like to read the following.

This is taken from a CoIntelligence report on Rupert Sheldrake’s deductions relating to morphogenetic fields:
“When crystals of a newly synthesized chemical substance, for example a new kind of drug, arise for the first time they have no exact precedent; but as the same compound is crystalized again and again, the crystals should tend to form more readily all over the world, just because they have already formed somewhere else” (this finding is mentioned elsewhere in my website).

Also taken from the CoIntelligence report:
“Sheldrake has hypothesized a field of morphic (‘pattern-related’) resonance in which patterns of knowledge, structure or behavior of a certain kind of thing (whether a salt crystal or a human mind) become increasingly embedded as a "habit," an ingrained pattern of information which influences and is accessible to other members of that category of thing. In commenting on the rat experiments, Sheldrake said: "If rats are taught a new trick in Manchester, then rats of the same breed all over the world should show a tendency to learn the same trick more rapidly, even in the absence of any known type of physical connection or communication. The greater the number of rats that learn it, the easier it should become for their successors."

This throws some light on the problem that concerns us all – question - how do we promote and establish a new civilisation when the weight of established institutions is against it? – answer – when our universally agreed moral truth weighs so much heavier as to be overwhelming.
