The U.K. UpStarts Awards for social entrepreneurs awarded 50,000 pounds to 4 winners demonstrating creative solutions to challenges in their communities: The Asylym Project, a social enterprise hub in West Wales; Aspire, an expanding social business creating full time employment for homeless and other excluded people; Re~Cycle, exporting used bicycles to countries where they are greatly needed; and Roots 'n Boots, growing and distributing locally produced healthy food.
