New Civilization News: Hypocrisy

It is a little to late for about 150,000 people or more to be
finally throwing money, though welcome, at the problem and
problems of the disparity of the human condition.
We can now poignantly see ourselves for our global
deficiencies and hypocrisy towards our fellow humans
and the well touted but unpracticed religious golden rule.
If this is what it takes to move us to care for those less
fortunate than us then it does not bode well for our future
and yet now it seems the sad truth is the best we can do,
is throw money after the fact, as if money can make up for the laxity of
the mutual responsibility we should and must have towards
the health and well being of one and other.
The damage is done though folks, so let us eat our humble pie
and admit and accept our shallowness, vanity and unconscious
hypocrisy and learn and pray that we can evolve, change and do better
the next time when G O D or nature takes us to task.

2 Jan 2005 @ 22:58 by vaxen : Well...
It is obvious, dear swanny, that you and everyone else seem to think that the Tsunami was an act of Nature and or of Natures' GoD? Try Weather War on for size and count the dead 'Muslims' before you go assuming so much. Didn't know that we have had the tech for ages, eh? Well we do and we do use it!

Easy to blame your fellows but take a good long, and hard, look at the 'soft weapons' of the New World Dis-Order' and study their uses.

Now ask yourself the question: Who benefits the most from the devastation incurred by the people from the latest 'Tsunami?'

And, again, count the dead 'Muslims.' ;)

2 Jan 2005 @ 23:08 by newdawn : now
what an american comment. shaming a nation into helping is still only skin deep. there is no "next time" there is only now. dollars do absolutely nothing if there is no one to do something with them. dollars don't help.food helps. people help. people are what is important. sorry to have taken out my button pushing response on your blog, Al.
time to wake up?! certainly is! don't eat humble pie. DO something about it.

ps Vax, tsunamis, tectonic plates, earthquakes, iceages, volcanos are a part of this planet and always have been. as a natural process of change which is the only constant in the universe these things move and clash. movement is. manipulating the weather for destruction (if this is indeed the case) has signed the death warrant of that nation/s who has done this. karma has no favourites.

2 Jan 2005 @ 23:08 by swanny : Hmmm
Do you always try to change the subject Vaxen when?

2 Jan 2005 @ 23:11 by swanny : Well
I do what I can..... New Dawn

The "care" vibrations
and "prayer" vibrations
have at times made a difference

3 Jan 2005 @ 03:27 by nemue : Sad
All about blame! Why can't we just accept that disasters happen? Yes, I do believe in weather manipulation and yes I believe it happens. But…I also believe in universal ‘push and pull’ and I think this latest disaster had more to do with things happening within our solar system than anything else. Over the years there have been any number of earthquakes caused by God only knows what. Millions of people have died in the last 100-years from natural causes. I am sure they didn’t have the ability to manipulate the weather back in the early 1920’s when there was any number of recorded events.

This isn’t about blame – it is about looking at the positives that can come from such devastating carnage. How demeaning to the millions of well-intentioned people who have done the only thing they can and give money. Some of the people giving have very little to give themselves. Pensioners, school children and battling families. It takes money to buy food, clothing, materials to rebuild houses, school’s roads etc. This is all many can contribute so Mr Jonas don’t make that out to be sometime appalling because it isn’t. It is about people pulling together and after all isn’t that what compassion and finally evolution is all about – caring for one another? Loving one another?

Yes, we can and will evolve and perhaps this latest event will help speed up the process so it is not in vain.

3 Jan 2005 @ 04:18 by vaxen : Witches...
, amongst others, have always had the ability. Read Macbeth as a 'for instance.' Not really 'changing' the sub-ject swanny...just asking for deeper thought and more clarity. Also note how the, ahem, "WAR IN IRAQ," has now taken the backseat to all the 'supposed' good being done by...whom? ;)

Some of us were not born yesterday, people, and some of us are acquainted with the overall 'plan' for world dominance that has been instantiated by those always lovable kids otherwise known as "The Global Enslavers."

Interesting how in the PR 'blitz' on this 'allowed' subject we see lots and lots of American, Swedish and South African tourists mentioned yet...not a lot of native folk getting news coverage?

Whole villages wiped off the face of the Earth yet...tourist beaches? Give me a friggin break! The PR media managerie at work doing a swell coverup job. Oh, remember Afghanistan? They sell really fine Kef, Opium, and other insundries one can smuggle through the net in diplomatic pouches and Air America planes. What a loverly little world we have here folks! MmmHmm! Can't have a 'New CIv' without de-struction of the old and con-struction of the "new" now can we?

Om Nama Shivaya Gurave Namah.
Shiv(a) O(A)ham.
Itsa Gotcha!

3 Jan 2005 @ 04:52 by nemue : Different Coverage...
I can only say that the coverage we are receiving down here is one big story after another of the impact on locals and yes we do have the stories relating to tourist but by and large the focus is on the local communities.

Yes, whole villages have been wiped off the face of the earth but the majority are little fishing villages not tourist beaches. The fishing villages have been hit the hardest. One of the reason for this is that many are build on reclaimed land or right on the waters edge. Also, their houses are of very flimsy construction. They just didn't stand a chance.

May be you have a cover-up but I am pleased to say we don't.

3 Jan 2005 @ 06:13 by newdawn : true coverage of our neighbours calamity
so true Nemue. We do have a much freer and real coverage not propaganda.

3 Jan 2005 @ 08:40 by ashanti : 'Stralians. Swanny. Vax. Fusion.
God, I miss them. Australians. And Australia too - well, the good parts, not the corrupt masonic cops. But the land and the Aborigines, and....I feel a visit coming on again, soon.

Swanny, your comment is somewhat cynical, but I think, well-founded. Why does it always take a disaster of this scale to bring out the "outpourings" of compassion? Why don't people do this all the time? Why don't they care about the suffering of those people living in poverty, in the developing world, all the time? And once people have eased their conscience by donating, then it stops. It's a once-off, not ongoing. I think your comment here is most poignant:

"If this is what it takes to move us to care for those less fortunate than us then it does not bode well for our future and yet now it seems the sad truth is the best we can do, is throw money
after the fact, as if money can make up for the laxity of the mutual responsibility we should and must have towards the health and well being of one and other." Touche.

Vax: While I was out in the Bush, (African, not George W.) on my Retreat, I felt it before I heard about it. My first thought was that this disaster was artificially manufactured. It's not rocket science, with the technology available now - causing an earthquake and 'Tsunami' is a piece of cake. On our media, in South Africa, we have had definite PR manipulation - all about the poor tourists, and the obligatory scientists trotted out to explain how it happened, scientifically. It smelt "cooked" the same as the coverage of 9/11 did. However, whatever the cause - whether engineered by the global enslavers doing themselves a bit of "ethnic cleansing", or whether natural, Swanny's point is valid - either way, why don't people care for each other, and look out for each other, like this, ALL the time? If that were so, the enslavers would not be able to operate with such ease.

Thanks for the different take on it all, everyone.

3 Jan 2005 @ 09:23 by vaxen : Thanks Ashanti:
Why don't people 'care' for each other? You know the reasons why just as well as I do. More work to do, eh? ;)

The Pentagon quote: "Weather modification will become a part of domestic and international security and could be done unilaterally... It could have offensive and defensive applications and even be used for deterrence purposes. The ability to generate precipitation, fog, and storms on earth or ***to modify space weather,*** ... and the production of artificial weather all are a part of an integrated set of technologies which can provide substantial increase in US, or degraded capability in an adversary, to achieve global awareness, reach, and power. (US Air Force, emphasis added. Air University of the US Air Force, AF 2025 Final Report, http://www.au.af.mil/au/2025/

SAID IN APRIL 1997 BY THE U.S. SECRETARY OF DEFENSE, WILLIAM COHEN: "Others [terrorists] are engaging even in an eco-type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves... So there are plenty of ingenious minds out there that are at work finding ways in which they can wreak terror upon other nations... It's real, and that's the reason why we have to intensify our [counterterrorism] efforts." --- Secretary of Defense William Cohen at an April 1997 counterterrorism conference sponsored by former Senator Sam Nunn. Quoted from DoD News Briefing, Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen, Q&A at the Conference on Terrorism, Weapons of Mass Destruction, and U.S. Strategy, University of Georgia, Athens, Apr. 28, 1997.

"In short,...the Secretary of Defense of the United States confirmed that there are indeed novel kinds of EM weapons, right now and have been for some time, which have been and are being used to (1) initiate earthquakes, (2) engineer the weather and climate, and (3) initiate the eruption of volcanoes. We wrote about those exact uses of the weaponry decades ago. Several nations now have such weapons. Three of them (two on one side and the other on a hostile side) are even firing practice shots into Western Australia, as a convenient test range." 3 Jan 2005 @ 10:00 by swanny : Money
Is it Compassion...... genuine compassion
or empathy or is it guilt or American Justice
aka OJ Simpson style with its notion that money
absolves all sins. Yes it is perhaps harsh,
and I am no better perhaps yet this ferocity
and power of nature astonds me even more.
Makes me feel as we are but the fuzz on the
peach in comparison to the forces that lie
beneath our feet. Forces so great that we
are pale and puny in comparison and not
terribly worthy of their greatness. It is an incredible
universe then is it not and there is no stopping it.
Yet is it devoid of ethics, as we seem to be?
Is there perhaps some "natural justice" involved
here that I am missing? Sorry to have roused your
angst, we are all caught I suppose in this mist of this
trauma and drama and I am having a reaction to it.
Is it the right reaction? Hard to say. It seems somewhat
unprecidented to me or in my lifetime. I suppose I feel
somewhat "caught" between the devil and the deep blue
sea or between a rock and a hard place. Trying to make
sense or justice of this when it probably makes no sense
or is beyond my ken. I feel that it is "too late" some how,
To late to care, for it is care that is perhaps wasted
and thrown after spilled milk. We goofed did we not?

Okay forget all that
So we want to throw money well then
do with some proper intent and a "plan"
What these people need though is to have
some input into it. Maybe they don't want
to be a Western Style Democracy but lets all
and I mean all sit at the table and get a
decent blueprint on how and what this
money is to be "invested" in and not just
spent. Perhaps we can build for them the
system we ourselves lack. Now that would
be a surprise but right now they seem to need
people and pyschologists to help them cope
with this global or local trauma which has
effected and affected their millions and us all. Throw money then
yes but throw it with a plan or some kind of vision.

Okay right of the bat....
there should be 2 or 3 funds
going ..... and people should specify
which it is where they want there money to
go. There should be the relief and disaster fund,
and then a "building fund" and then a
"futures" fund because the initial sentiment is going to die
down shortly but it will take years or decades to recover to
a reality that was not really going anywhere.

3 Jan 2005 @ 10:35 by newdawn : from what I have
seen here (Oz) in the media the first people who were asked to come to help were Australian forensic scientists, doctors and nurses and psychologists to help with body identification (initially)and the trauma. We have sent in food and people the day after the disaster to help with the cleanup of the bodies as that is the most imminent need, ie stopping the spread of desease which can kill just as many after the event as the tsunami. I was not aware of America's idea of wanting to bring in "western style democracy" into this area. Who has given america the right or permission to do this???????!!!!!!! Can you people not see that we as fellow human beings are here to help one another not put your own values or beliefs on another?
So many thousands of people , whole villages, whole islands have been completely wiped clean of human life. Life will never return to these places in the same way that it was before. This catastrophe has changed this area for decades and infact the land form has been altered in the worst hit areas.
Why in God's name would these people want "western style democracy" when their lives have been leveled to survival mode?

3 Jan 2005 @ 11:05 by swanny : An assumption
Well perhaps I am making an assumption that the
invisible "strings" attached to this money are
the assumptions that it will be spent in a modern
capitalistic fashion although that may not necessarily be
the case as the largest donor to date is Japan at
$500 million and perhaps I am making assumptions
where none exist but well greed is greed and such
and humans are humans and money is power
but the point is okay there is some money
and something "beneficial" to those whom it is
intended to "help" should be done with it......
what would be "helpful" though?
If one or many or millions have been traumatized
how do "we" or how "can" we possibly "help" them
throwin money though typical without the right
intent or plan, is that helpful?
How can this aid or money or help be used
to mutual or can it be mutual ..... benefit.
Are there some expectations then and strings
attached to this aid and if so does that need some
examination?

3 Jan 2005 @ 12:55 by newdawn : altruism
could be a way of looking at things. When I help another I do it not with intention of getting something back or being able to manipulate a situation but because I genuinely want to help someone who is in a position where I would not like to be. If I help so I can control then my help has the same value as used toilet paper.
If a country asks for help in a specific area then it knows what it needs to help make it through difficulties.
Japan has given the most financial aid, why?Assumption: perhaps they can see that they may very well be in exactly the same situation very shortly and hope that others would help them make it through. If disasters do not teach the greedy and dominating what life is truly about then what returns to them eventually will.

3 Jan 2005 @ 16:37 by swanny : Breathe
My apologies for my anger...
Breathe
Let us then deal with the "FACTS'
and the "Realities".
What are they then?
What are the facts and realities at this time?
Monday January 3, 2005 on the Planet Earth
in the Milky Way Galaxcy.
Speak not of propositions then
but of the "Actions" we can take,
and let us to act with grace, calm and foresight
less we make matters worse.

3 Jan 2005 @ 17:55 by swanny : Doing
I think, in a way, what we have to do, in regards to the quake and tsunami event
of Boxing Day 2004 and its aftermath, is to resist the temptation to run away. To run away like those millions had to do in their hour of despair. To run and try to escape from what is and was quite simply a natural phenomenon

Yet this simple natural event, so dwarfs our earthly scope and grasp that we can, if allowed, become awed, transfixed and hypnotized by its sheer magnitude and power. Caught up in this not so common, on our scale and terms, natural process which seems to seize and paralyzes our minds and imagination.

We must dig deep though and find a resolve and strength to withstand its seemingly dark spell and stay rooted in our faith, reason and meaning for being, living and doing.

Yet we cannot, on the other hand, simply ignore it either and the millions that it swept over the side into its waters of loss, pain and confusion. No we instead must, stand firm and tall and pull to ourselves, safety and comfort, those that stood upon the front lines and took its, not wrath, but of the shock of its unannounced and unexpected natural occurrence. An occurrence that perhaps bodes as a disaster to us, but is simply in some sense a reoccurring and natural effect for our planet.

So then, can we thus now stand firm and respectful in our humanhood and this Earth we call home and accept and overcome its natural reality and effects together?

3 Jan 2005 @ 23:24 by newdawn : being human
the countries that were hit by this calamity are reeling from the shock and pain. the rest of the world who is genuinly concerned can show its loving compassion and understanding by providing the basic needs (at present) of survival ie food, clean water, medical help, sanitation, digging mass graves. Japan is showing true understanding and compassion as they have been ravaged with quakes themselves and KNOW what disaster is like.
Putting past presidents and family members on the TV to ask americans to donate is just another media stunt and shows a total but total lack of respect, or understanding of the situation. Yes , that IS manipulation and that sort of thing smacks of " we white man missionaries will save the world"
The Tai culture or any other of the Asian cultures are beautiful and deeply spiritual and no other country has the right to deface them with their own beliefs. You know this one "do unto others as you would have them do unto you"
So feel the compassion with your heart, don't make a mockery of their deaths and tragedy by media manipulation and provide physical aid ~ people power because their countries will not be the same after this. Raping a country with "western style democracy" is a real crime and completely inappropriate.
Have affluent people/countries not learnt anything? This is the opportunity to become human again.

4 Jan 2005 @ 02:15 by nemue : Strings?
I don't believe that many countries expect anything in return. By the way one of the largest contributors (money and aid) is India. Like Japan they know from experience what the impacts of natural disasters are.

We need to support those countries impacted but let them rebuild their way. We can not impose our solutions on them. They ask we respond. They need help, we respond. I don't wish to sound rude but we DON'T need George Bush and his team riding down here and taking over.

I spend a lot of time in Asia - I am up there monthly and I so agree with the statement "The Thai culture or any other of the Asian cultures are beautiful and deeply spiritual and no other country has the right to deface them with their own beliefs. You know this one "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". We need to help them rebuild and keep their belief's and their unique beauty, not change it.

I am helping one of the charities set up a home for the children. It is a charity that I work with here anyway, so this is just an extension of existing work. We kick off today collecting money and toys. I want nothing in return.

4 Jan 2005 @ 06:26 by astrid : .....???....attached???
oh, I will eat my Old Hat if there isn't a LOT of Strings attached to the "Giving" of the money from the American "government"... The PEOPLE'S MONEY, I might add. These people can't fart without thinking how they possibly could do it in a way that they could gain something at your cost with the act! THAT IS the Nature of the "BEAST".
There's only two ways to change the Nature of the Beast here -not necessarily soon enough to make a difference in how the Tsunami situation is being handled, but hopefully for future days: Make SURE we clean out ALL of the BULLY vibrations from our own Being. secondly: NOT LET THE LOONIES OFF THE HOOK, but what ever they say, ask questions till ALL their ambiguous statemnts are unravelled and all HIDDEN AGENDAS are in plain sight. FORCE them to be open and CLEAR ALL "CARDS" on the table!
Sure there was a cosmic lesson we chose to -possibly- learn for this price of the tsunami disaster: Start paying some attention to at least one of the dozen or so Divine Skill we were given at Birth by LIFE/GOD: INSTINCT! Animals used it -and hardly any animals were hence caught by the waves!... they followed their instinct and took off, before the waves came!... EVERY human on the Planet was given this same surefire Instinct. But would we remain nice little slave-idiots if we had had our instinct intact after our third year??? Hell no!ETC ETC
The Phariseic Philantropy was an ISSUE at Jesus Time already... in Jerusalem... Today it is an ISSUE WHERE EVER people of this "phariseic" = BULLY mentality is represented, most notably in the "elite-loonies... they all practice this same kind of "Charity".... So did the Italian Mafia bosses BIGTIME!...
Ashanti,it was my very first thought that the tsunami was manufactured just like the 5 biggest(and the most devastating) hurricanes this past season in the Caribbeans .... Remember, I had a link up to an article ( on rense.com ) that described exactly how that was done.... Now I'm waiting for the first articles/ "proofs" that this tsunami was a "little ethnic cleansing"-practice -or maybe a New Years Ritualof some sort.

4 Jan 2005 @ 10:03 by newdawn : "manufactured" tsunami
I so hope that you are totally wrong about the "manufactured" tsunami.

4 Jan 2005 @ 22:04 by nemue : Acceptance
Why can't we just accept that sometimes things happen that aren't manmade interventions? I am into conspiracy as much if not more than most. I certainly accept that weather can be controlled and not always for the betterment of mankind, but to even suspect that this latest catastrophe was as a result manmade manipulation is just beyond belief.

A hurricane, drought etc I can understand but to be able to control and manipulate the earth’s plate (to cause a tsunami) would take a bomb so massive that the destruction I feel would have been far greater. I also suspect that it would also have killed millions of sea animals. There have been some beaching of whales and dolphins but this has only been around a hundred that I am aware of.

If there was any third party intervention I suspect it had more to do with asteroid impacts that man.

Please, let us think of dignity of those people who have been impacted and accept that mother earth sometimes has a bad day just like we do. Like us, sometimes the result of the bad day is less than desired.

4 Jan 2005 @ 22:35 by astrid : Dear Nemue,
you are most probably right. It was I'm pretty sure, right that it was a Natural Happening. The point is though: we can't be sure what and how far the Loonies are willing to go in their Population reduction, which IS thee nr. One Task given to "W" for instance. Not only that, but they DO want more deeply certain people to perish than others!...
We all know that we have bread OUT of CONTROL!.... worse than rats in a confined area! The area is STILL confined! Ask Mother Earth!... and this is where the big crux is. Are we, humans, willing to volunteer to stop copulating; making babies, without any thought of consequencies -or are we not?...
Too many humans are in that consciousness vibration where making babies is the only creativity left for them... THIS is why "sex" is so popular. It is NOT so popular because it feels sp damm good. That is a product of cultural brainwash, to hype us to think so!....
The spiritual secret truth about sex is the CREATIVITY aspect of it. And that is dangerous! The elite loonies don't even dare to touch the subject. Not only because it would explode people's minds wide open to the control and manipulation games overall, but because THIS is the vibration they the loonies are themselves in too!!!...
We ARE by Cosmic Design CO-Creators of (our part ) of the Univesrse and that programming is stronger than ANY other programming,I believe, on this particular vibrational level.
So, the only way the loonies can figure out to circumvent the subject and do some re-adjustments is by other means available on the vibrational level, among which WAR and overall meyhem is A Given there, as is the belief in Separation, lack, Dog-Eat-Dog mentality plus the rest you see in the so called Mainstream / "estblishment".
Knowing what is available of Solutions within the confines of that vibr. level and knowing the desparation of these guys to NOT LOSE CONTROL,( does this explain"W" behaviour and war in Iraq, for instance? If not, then nothing will! ) I don't hold anything beyond these guys!... Nothing. THIS is the sad truth that we have to both UNDERSTAND and ACCEPT this sad truth in order to have ANY chance to remedy it!

4 Jan 2005 @ 22:52 by nemue : I Do Understand
I have no doubt there are any number of active programs to reduce the population of the earth. The spread of aids is a good example. The use of contaminated vaccines in many 3rd world countries are now manifesting as increases in the disease (hence death) rather than protecting life. See World Heath Organisation….

The earth cannot sustain our numbers – true – because we have raped her beyond belief and we need to change. Absolutely…certain races are more expendable than others YES…so we are on the same page but I just feel that man does not manipulate this latest event. Any number of other events yes and we have to speak out and try and influence change.

Yes, we have to accept the consequences of our decisions if we continue down that path we are on...blessings

6 Jan 2005 @ 01:48 by spiritseek : Earths consciousness
is linked with ours. As our consciousness gathers strength whether good or bad its reflected outward through our planet. Do you have to see the connecting lines for proof that what we dream up and think of will soon cause the planet to show its effects? We are causing the CAUSE, the planet is showing the EFFECT. After I made this comment I went in search of an answer. Here is a link I found that may shed some light unto what I am trying to say.
