Essentially I would envision that an Econation being a sustainable nation that lives in global harmony and within its ecological ways means and budget. This opinion is based somewhat on research and media reports and hence is not first hand but would seem to be somewhat consistent over about 10 to 20 years of received reports. Aug 29 2006 Canada Sunday SWEDEN Well it has come to my attention that Sweden may also be an emerging candidate as they have put forth some legislation to be "off the grid" by 2015. While being off the grid is perhaps not manditory, it does suggest that a country is using alternative and sustainable means to generate its power needs. It is interesting how we are subject to the propaganda of our own countries and sometimes fail to garner truth from the real world. BUT in the local movement to create an Eco-nation by 2020 the term refers to an ecologically sustainable life style in harmony with very obvious and basic ecological principles (our farmers give truth to the lie of New Zealand being clean & green; current agricultural activities are still very crude and primative and Gene Engineering is actually being considered as a real alternative....shit but there is a crisis on hand!!). Honour and acknowledge the 'Law of Return' (life from life through action of the micro flora; as in the compost heap), honour the harmony of the many through honouring the needs of the ONE. No real deep concerns about the dishonoured international monetry system, a basic and transparant medium of exchange will emerge from the current transition of our culture. This is in my view where the basis of illusion has entered our life experience; that money creates money (fiat dollars)and its worth is based upon ability to decieve rather than on true and agreed social worth and value. It would seem the Chinese curse has afflicted us and we do indeed (conscious or otherwise!!) live in interesting times. I am involved as I see this as a valid first step to achieving our birth right and through heart empowered actions realising and embodying the full glory of a conscious co-creation with the divine in this time. It would seem (from all the evidence I am privy to) that as humanity we are on schedule to complete the mission and that it will happen well before the stated date.
