After Saddam Hussein destroyed the World Trade Center - with the help of what’sname, oh you know, that guy who’s head of al Qaeda (if Bush can’t think of his name why should I?) - and we drove Saddam from power, thereby removing a greater threat than Hitler from the world’s stage, all his terrorists buddies, all those jihadi types, you know, came rushing to Iraq to take us on.

That’s because our president boldly told them to “bring it on.” And they did. With a stroke of inspired genius, President Bush brought all the world’s terrorists to Iraq, where we can “fight them there instead of here.”

What would happen if we brought our troops out of Iraq now? Why, do you think that as our troops pull out, board those ships and planes to come back all those Muslim terrorists won’t board their own planes and ships to follow them here? Of course they will! They’ll be right behind them. And then what will we have? Baghdad in New York? Felluja in Chicago? Tikrit in Philadelphia! IEDs exploding as you drive your car out of your garage to go to work in the morning? Some way to start the day, huh?

Yes, my fellow Americans, we have much to fear. There is much to be truly scared of in the world. Do you fear enough? it is patriotic, you know, to fear. And when you fear you back the troops too, who will stay in Iraq to fight the terrorists there so that we won’t have to fight them here. Just be certain you maintain a high level of fear, which is what it means to be an American today. And believe whatever your president tells you. And be suspicious: inform on your neighbors, tell on your children's’ teachers if they ever question George Bush or the war, and put a nice little magnetic yellow ribbon on the back of your car. And remember Christ loves you. And that when He kills us all in the Rapture we will all go up to Heaven. Where you will never see a Muslim, or an illegal alien, or any tree huggers or feminazis or liberals. Where nobody reads the New York Times or Harpers or The Nation but only the Murdoch press. For God reads the New York Post and watches Fox. Yes, remember, virtue is stupidity. And stupidity is virtue. Smile, don’t knock. Boost! Back the troops. Kill them more! And we will never have to fight the Islamofascists here. How do I know all this? Because Rupert Murdoch and Fox News and the president tell me so. And that so long as we wave the flag and beat our chests with patriotism God will be on our side.

12 Jul 2007 @ 23:19 by Quinty @72.195.137.102 : Precautions...

So before you turn your lights off at night be sure to look under the couch in the living room and behind all your bookcases. And before climbing into bed look under the bed. Use a powerful flashlight and be sure to hit every corner. And keep a gun in the house in case you have to shoot the terrorist who is attempting to hide behind the lilac bush. Or the one up in your maple tree. And be quick about shooting him too for you know these jihadists are filled with Oriental stealth and cunning. And he may even disguise himself as your postman. So shoot him too as you see him coming up your front walk. Even if he waves and smiles at you. For that is a well known terrorist ploy.

And it’s never too late to buy duck tape, to seal all the windows in your house. For our enemies will surely poison the air. And that cable repairman up on his truck ladder, toying with some wire coils in the box, may actually be preparing to zap a million volts of electricity into your house. Shoot him down too! Take no chances! And the woman walking a dog may have an illegal alien dog. A dog who snuck in across the Canadian border as a harbinger for the Muslim hordes who will sweep down from the north. Where they may be assembling now. Or would be, if we weren’t fighting them in Iraq.

I hope I have gotten through, because this is surely a war of worlds, cultures, civilizations, and it’s for keeps. And at this rate, we will be there for the next hundred years.

12 Jul 2007 @ 23:20 by Quinty @72.195.137.102 : Gut feelings

I have gut feelings too. Like it will rain tomorrow and this would be a good time to mow the lawn. Of course, if you live with terror, day in and day out, you may begin to see it everywhere yourself. The culture of the White House promotes such a heightened sensitivity. So Michael Chertoff may perhaps be forgiven for having intestinal forebodings regarding appearances of mass horror and destruction in our country. He is dealing with a dark and hidden force whose logic has gradually slipped under his skin and reached his stomach. What’s more, our president claims to be intimately acquainted with evil, sometimes bringing world experts and religious leaders to the White House to discuss the subject. For he knows good and evil dwells in the human heart and his specialty is in recognizing it.

What’s more, Chertoff may be right. The season is ripe for terror, just as the season is getting there for the summer harvest. Plums, peaches, corn and the like. And al Qaeda has been dormant for awhile. It would be foolish not to believe they are cooking something up. After all, we daily motivate them, anger them, encourage them by our continuing presence in Iraq and in the Middle East. And some brave souls among them will undoubtedly make the trip over here hoping to inflict as much pain and suffering as they can.

So I’m with Chertoff’s gut. With so much evidence that we, the United States, have seriously provoked al Qaeda it is reasonable to believe they will act.

I see that sticker on Chevy pickups everyday in Southeast Ohio, along with the other aesthetic artwork these macho dudes use to decorate their big "toys". From the way they talk they should like nothing better than to fight 'em over here. C'mon Georgie, strap on that gunbelt! It's high noon.

"Appearences of 'mass' horror." Tittilates ones' spirit doesn't it? WIth the new Jericho weekly on whatever channel it is on do you really think that 'viewers' voted (?) to bring Jericho back? Good way to prepare the 'audiences' for that which has been prepared for for a long, long time.

The White House has a culture? I suppose it apt to view the White House as analogous to a petri dish but this game started long ago...

Read "The Revelation" of John in the 'New' Testament. Yeshua had the right idea: Get rid of the money changers who have set up business in the holy temple of the human heart and are running rampant, worldwide, with their ideas of 'profit.'

Or read the 'Old' Testament prophets (Major and Minor) and you'll begin to see a pattern emerge from old Ninevah to the present day 'White House.'

Ready for Teheran? Ah, this kiss, this kiss...

And Cindy Sheehan says:

Don't fear change especially when the status quo is so freaking frightening.

I bet those Heartland dudes in the Chevy pickup trucks would be willing to take 'em on. Can anyone ever forget that shot of Slim Pickens slapping his ten gallon hat against the side of that nuke barreling down in Dr. Strangelove? Some things never change.

15 Jul 2007 @ 17:49 by quinty : “The Fight ‘em

There So We Don't Have To Fight 'em Here” crowd went into panic chortling last night when the news came out. That the Iraqi government in effect has told us to get lost. That they would be quite happy without us.

So the All Stars on Fox News complained that if we pulled out now what would happen to the “center” of our war on terrorism? That we have to stay to fight them there in order not to fight them here. But even more amazingly another Fox pundit was unable to see the difference between conventional and guerrilla warfare: believing our “war on terror” in Iraq was the former, and that by pulling out we would surrender the battlefield.

This is serious scampering to all collectively Hail the Chief, our chief, who no matter how many lives are lost and taken has to always be made to appear in the right. The wise, sagacious, knowledgeable leader who didn’t even know about the Sunnis and Shia when he called for this war. Our hearty and hale Chief, President George Bush. Here’s the news which has stoked up the (fair and balanced) pundits’ rationalizing....

Iraq PM: Country Can Manage Without US
    By Bushra Juhi
    The Associated Press

    Saturday 14 July 2007

Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said Saturday that the Iraqi army and police are capable of keeping security in the country when American troops leave "any time they want," though he acknowledged the forces need further weapons and training.

The embattled prime minister sought to show confidence at a time when congressional pressure is growing for a withdrawal and the Bush administration reported little progress had been made on the most vital of a series of political benchmarks it wants al-Maliki to carry out.

Al-Maliki said difficulty in enacting the measures was "natural" given Iraq's turmoil.

But one of his top aides, Hassan al-Suneid, rankled at the assessment, saying the U.S. was treating Iraq like "an experiment in an American laboratory." He sharply criticised the U.S. military, saying it was committing human rights violations, embarassing the Iraqi government with its tactics and cooperating with "gangs of killers" in its campaign against al-Qaida in Iraq.

Al-Suneid's comments were a rare show of frustration toward the Americans from within al-Maliki's inner circle as the prime minister struggles to overcome deep divisions between Shiite, Sunni and Kurdish members of his coalition and enact the American-drawn list of benchmarks.

In new violence in Baghdad on Saturday, a car bomb leveled a two-story apartment building, and a suicide bomber plowed his explosives-packed vehicle into a line of cars at a gas station. The two attacks killed at least eight people, police officials said on condition of anonymity because they were not authorize to release details of the attacks.

Thursday's White House assessment of progress on the benchmarks fueled calls among congressional critics of the Iraqi policy for a change in strategy, including a withdrawal of American forces.

Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari warned earlier this week of civil war and the government's collapse if the Americans leave. But al-Maliki told reporters Saturday, "We say in full confidence that we are able, God willing, to take the responsibility completely in running the security file if the international forces withdraw at any time they want."

But he added that Iraqi forces are "still in need of more weapons and rehabilitation" to be ready in the case of a withdrawal.

On Friday, the Pentagon conceded that the Iraqi army has become more reliant on the U.S. military. The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Peter Pace, said the number of Iraqi batallions able to operate on their own without U.S. support has dropped in recent months from 10 to six, though he said the fall was in part due to attrition from stepped-up offensives.

Al-Maliki told a Baghdad press conference that his government needs "time and effort" to enact the political reforms that Washington seeks - "particularly since the political process is facing security, economic and services pressures, as well as regional and international interference."

"These difficulties can be read as a big success, not negative points, when they are viewed under the shadow of the big challenges," he said.

In the White House strategy, beefed-up American forces have been waging intensified security crackdowns in Baghdad and areas to the north and south for nearly a month. The goal is to bring quiet to the capital while al-Maliki gives Sunni Arabs a greater role in the goverment and political process, lessening support for the insurgency.

But the benchmarks have been blocked by divisions among Shiite, Sunni and Kurdish leaders. In August, the parliament is taking a one month vacation - a shorter break than the usual two months, but still enough to anger some in Congress who say lawmakers should push through the measures.

Al-Suneid, a Shiite lawmaker close to al-Maliki, bristled at the pressure. He called Thursday's report "objective," but added, "this bothers us a lot that the situation looks as if it is an experiment in an American laboratory (judging) whether we succeed or fail."

He also told The Associated Press that al-Maliki has problems with the top U.S. commander Gen. David Petraeus, who works along a "purely American vision."

He criticized U.S. overtures to Sunni groups in Anbar and Diyala, encouraging former insurgents to join the fight against al-Qaida in Iraq. "These are gangs of killers," he said.

"There are disagreements that the strategy that Petraeus is following might succeed in confronting al-Qaida in the early period but it will leave Iraq an armed nation, an armed society and militias," said al-Suneid.

He said that the U.S. authorities have embarrassed al-Maliki' government through acts such as constructing a wall around Baghdad's Sunni neighborhood of Azamiyah and repeated raids on suspected Shiite militiamen in the capital's eastern slum of Sadr City. He said the U.S. use of airstrikes to hit suspected insurgent positions also kills civilians.

"This embarrasses the government in front of its people," he said, calling the civilian deaths a "human rights violation."

27 Aug 2007 @ 10:29 by vaxen : Think
As Angelina Joile now luxuriates in her new found junior mebership in the CFR I can't help thinking of asymetrical warfare and the coming destruction of the united states. A fool will all ways be a fool no matter how well trained and how well educated for in that ignominy he'll stumble everytime. Upon this we asymetrically bank our well warchested funds...

Modern Asymmetrical War: The Scorpion Duel

In this chapter Bearden defines asymmetrical warfare as having two main phases: Insertion and Operations. Insertion means preparing by inserting weapons of destruction into the target country.

Instead of an identifiable single army on a single foreign battlefield, the terrorist foe's "vitals" are hidden around the world, in many places, and in many ways. Many of them - often the most dangerous of them - are secretly hidden right here in the United States, inserted during the insertion phase which has been ongoing for at least 20 years.

In the U.S., we cannot "hide" our vitals such as refineries, pipelines, railroads, bridges, electrical power plants and long transmission lines, harbors, water supplies, food supplies, etc. Instead, we can only try to protect them against their certain attack, and try to limit the damage and destruction.

The main target for the terrorists is not just our military forces, but is primarily our civilian populace and especially our national economy - which is particularly vulnerable by the rather simple destruction of our centralized electrical power system and its primary support infrastructure.

The real art of asymmetric war is to first draw most of the targeted opponent's military forces out of the protected fortress and get them scattered widely in distant locations and distant struggles. By augmenting the distant resistance, this forces the targeted nation's military forces mostly to be deployed elsewhere, leaving the internal fortress itself much less protected, and thus making it highly vulnerable.

The last paragraph is chilling and brings to mind the huge proportion of American forces which are currently scattered around in Iraq and Afghanistan. Is the Bush regime unwittingly playing into a trap to remove the military away and out of the nation?

Have the above mentioned psychoenergetic weapons been used on top officials including Bush to get them, against all other advice, to leave the "homeland" undefended? Many articles have been written about the fact that Bush seems to be suffering some kind of megalomaniacal mental illness. Is this "illness" being aided and abetted by scalar weapons in psychoenergetic mode?

Distant Military Actions: Necessary but Not Sufficient
Here Bearden addresses the fact that American intelligence and military do not seem to grasp the new realities of asymmetrical warfare and are proceeding along a path of "war as usual." But the new weapons have thrust us into a new reality in which old style conventional war is nearly irrelevent.

Indeed, as with every other strong and emotional subject, the subject of "asymmetry" in warfare is itself a societal polarization area. Typical "anti-views" simply downplay the very notion of asymmetry as being "nothing new or special" in warfare {lxviii}.

As one reads such treatises, it becomes crystal clear that our own strategic planners and strategic theorists themselves are often confused, simply recasting asymmetric war into what has gone before.

They are not factoring in such radical developments as the Yakuza's acquisition and use of scalar electromagnetic superweapons, or the dramatic change that occurs in the theory once full strategic U.S. destruction is a capability already in terrorists' hands, with multiple knock- out blows already cocked and waiting.

And they certainly are not factoring in the stunning implications of mind war, conversions, etc. If one can disable an entire populace mentally, at a single stroke, one can use such "mind war" conversion switching to destroy any order in the society nearly instantly.

Asymmetric Warfare Simplified: An Overview
Here Bearden continues discussion of the "insertion phase" and "operations phase" of asymmetrical warfare.

He says that the insertion phase against the West has been going on for two decades now and that the West has been completely "asleep" to it, and the three year "operations phase" has now begun. Ignorance of scalar weapons (and free energy) is the greatest asset of those entities which want to use the boon of scalar energy in order to destroy. Such entities will be the ones responsible for mankind's failing of the test we now face as a species.

The great advantage of the insertion phase is that it covertly prepares a great "barrage" where the "ordnance delivery to the exact target locations " has already been accomplished and its lethal effectiveness against the actual targets has therefore been assured in advance.

===

Finally, Bearden sums up the foregoing, starting with the things mentioned in the now famous statement by then Secretary of Defense William Cohen: the use of scalar weapons to induce earthquakes (2004 tsunami, Yellowstone) and volcanos (Cumbre Vieja, Toba supervolcano in Sumatra) and other possible target zones and weather engineering of hurricanes and droughts. Meanwhile, despite Cohen's rare statement, the Western governments appear not to have a clue.

At least publicly, this major change in the capabilities of the terrorists against the United States has not been analyzed or pursued by the conventional U.S. government agencies and their traditional support analysis agencies.

Specifically, the U.S. Congress has not been adequately informed, particularly of the terrible mess that our decrepit old electrical engineering really is, and the consequences of not correcting it when our foes already have done so.
The secrecy of the so-called "secret government" of the United States has worked against it and nearly assured the total destruction of the West in the coming Scalar Wars http://prahlad.org/pub/bearden/scalar_wars.htm described in "Oblivion - America at the Brink."

It appears too late to avoid all this for we are entering into the time window of the overt attack and the total corruption rampant in all three branches of government makes any real preventative measures impossible. Neither Congress nor the military is facing any of these issues, either from stupidity and ignorance, the vast secrecy, the power of the oil companies and energy cartels, or even the mental distortions and entrancements of the scalar weapons in psychoenergetics mode.

It is above all the secrecy which is leading to our destruction. That is why I consider Tom Bearden a true hero for risking to put all this information and the science of it out there on his website and in his books. I am rather pessimistic that we can avoid, if not Tom's scenario, then some similar scenario leading to all-out overt scalar wars which will signal mankind's current unworthiness to receive the incredible boon given by nature via the energy of the vacuum.

The human "race" appears to be literally a race, a race between good and evil. Good and evil race each other through history to see who will get to this incredible technology first. If good gets there first then we have a chance to create a paradise on earth and a truly sustainable civilization. If evil gets there first then we inevitably destroy ourselves and go back to the beginning and are forced to start the race all over again.

Was the mythical destruction Atlantis the ending of a previous occurence of this race? This human "race?"

[In the third and final part of this review we shall look at a few samples of the briefing slides which actually make up the main bulk of "Oblivion."]
