Ever since our thread on DAN 1's Blog, where we started to touch Epidemics/Pandemics of Infection-diseases like Small Pox,Black Plague,Scarlet Fever, Cholera & such; all VERY CONTAGEOUS, yet they are NOTHING in comparison to Mental/>Emotional/>Spiritual INFECTIONS.
This is a subject matter I have been observing -and studying- since my teens and with acknowledged intention & focus ever since my first years as an RN. I have been thinking of starting to share my own Insights about the Subject matter. This article I just happen to find, seems to be a "Good One " to start with... : )....cause -at least- half of Humankind will have interest in it.... or quite frankly most likely some 95 %....(that would -of course-include a looot of women wanting to understand this weird obcession, that -especially- men seem to have for pornografy...I instinctually knew this in my mid-teens!... It just was as if written all across the SKIES in the Heavens!... Maybe it wasn't...since only I seemed to know this for so long. I am so happy that there indeed have been others, who have seen the "TEXT - ON -The WALL", so to speak..... and started to share their insights and research results in tandem.
I guess that this "Official Research" is what makes an Insight OK and justified in the eyes of the Blind Ones).
So without any more ado I let you delve into the World of the Mystery Disease called IMPOTENCE....and indeed it IS IMPOTENSE -OF THE SOUL!!!
I will eventually follow this article with my own observations of other Pandemics. They all need to be taken out from the Closet and allowed the Sunshine to transmute them -and thus HEAL US!!!


The Impotence Pandemic

Sex therapists and pornographers have long prescribed pornography to correct male impotence and to "spice up" a couple's sex life. However, the broader meaning of "potency" is "power, authority a person or thing exerting power or influence."

The proper contextual definition of modern impotence, then, is not the narrow classification of "erectile dysfunction."

One is not "potent" if one requires little blue pills, sexy pictures, or immature victims for sexual satisfaction. It is more accurate then to define men as impotent when they are unable to be conjugallyintimate with their chosen beloved.

Princeton University professor of psychiatry Jeffrey Satinover said, "The pornography addict soon forgets about everything and everyone else in favor of an ever more elusive sexual jolt. He will place at risk his career, his friends, his family."

Satinover compared pornography to heroin, saying, "Only the delivery system and the sequence of steps" differ. Moreover, the sequence from potent to impotent is swift.

Professor Mary Anne Layden of the University of Pennsylvania compared pornography's rapid effects to that of "crack cocaine."

The impotent man replaces his "partner" with a fantasy. For, says neurobiologist Peter Milner, "unfamiliar stimuli have a rewarding component. It is even possible to become addicted to novelty and uncertainty."

Indeed. French neuroscientist Serge Stoleru found that overexposure to "erotic" stimuli exhausted the sexual responses of normal, healthy young men.

Someone once dubbed pornography "the opiate of the masses," an endogenous opiate high called "lust" that makes wholesome, loving sensuality feel ho-hum. Pornography triggers high states of fear-shame-lust arousal ("flight/fight/sex"), quite the opposite of a faithful love. No wonder even devoted couples confess dismay at finding pornography more arousing than their marital embrace.

Says Milner, "[m]ost stimuli become less attractive as they become familiar and predictable. Thus, novelty has an effect similar to that of reward." (Emphasis added.) By definition, when the libido depends on novel pictures, such men are dependent,they are "without power," emasculated,their libido, their masculine power and authority hijacked by a steady stream of new paper dolls.

In December 1953, Hugh Hefner began marketing Playboy as "sexual liberation." But, instead of emancipation, Hefner sold Joe College Pornographically Induced Impotence.

Pornographically Induced Impotence is evident in an August 1974 Playboy cartoon. A beautiful girl and a handsome lad are in bed. Across her nude body the grinning boy has laid a naked "centerfold" image. The girl under the paper doll asks, plaintively, "Are you sure you still love me, Henry?"

This Playboy lad ­ symbolic of millions of currently addicted Internet consumers ­ no longer commands his own natural-born masculine power to physically love. "Henry" and his young vessel are robbed of a vitally important human right; the right to fully experience love-based intimacy.

Urged on by Kinseyan "sexperts" to bring "erotica" into their marriage beds, millions of hoodwinked couples are now puppets, dangled by pornographic strings. Pornographically Induced Impotence is a national pandemic, raking in untold billions for pornographers and their satellite businesses as well as from marital discord and the despair it produces.

From the Playboy mansion to Capitol Hill, from thousands of prostituted Las Vegas girls and women to newlywed bedrooms, from Fortune 500 offices to Ivy League dorms, men and boys have habituated to the rewards of their own hand from the hand of Hefner et al.

Public policy analyst Shaunti Feldhahn recently launced a series of church lectures after counselors noted, "many families in our church are struggling with pornography and with infidelity." Men are "visually wired," Feldhahn explained. Their images of women stretch "back to his teenage years and any one of the pictures is going to pop up at any time in his brain without warning."

In 1981, Hefner biographer Gay Talese wrote that "Hef's" influence reached out to "the central nervous system of Playboy readers nationwide." Men's collective "central nervous system" includes "images" popping up and stretching "back to teenage years." By 2005, some experts estimated that situational or total impotence was afflicting up to 50 percent of men.

Pornography (erototoxins) emasculate indiscriminately, castrating men of every race, religion, and "orientation," atheist and orthodox, rich and poor, conservative and radical, young and old, svelte and paunchy, handsome and unappealing, scientist and sky-cap, the clever and the obtuse, en masse.

Pornographically Induced Impotence once kept men and boys anxiously awaiting each month's "new" fantasy images. The Internet means they wait no more. Yet psychologist Bernie Zilbergeld long ago admitted that magazines like Playboy were implanting impotence in their consumers: "Humor is the basic source of education.Cartoons that poke fun at impotence or other male inadequacieswould outweigh any supportive things said in the advice column. Cartoons are simply more compelling. Some things are."

Thousands of Playboy cartoons "poke fun" at male impotence as well as virginity, wives, marriage, religion, sexual harassment, incest, "illegitimate" childbirth and child sexual abuse.

Feldhahan said the churched men she surveyed largely sought not "unlimited sex," but "a feeling of wanting to be wanted." Men must recoup their manhood to be wanted. Until "Henry" strides forth to purge fantasy, he will remain a vassal, his manhood controlled by pornographers, his Liege Lords.

love and lust share the same friggin root! Leubhe! Let the good Doctores put that in their sinking ship and smoke it!

They'd rather people view endless war rot (Wonder what over exposure to war does to the libido? ;) ). Oh it is healthier for the mind and neuro system, I'm sure, than to look at animals copulating! Eros, Phileo, Agapeo.

Of course the religious 'frames' people have been behavior modded with for thousands of years really help don't they?

All I can say about the good doctors and their studies is: Get a friggin life and stop living, like vampires, off the fruits of others labors! Implanting impotence!

Maybe Doctor Reisman ought to go out and get a good f**k! Probably increase her libido by ten thousand fold, make a woman out of her, and get her out of Academia for good (Lots of kinky sex going on there I can assure you!).

Nah, what the good doctors really are is Fascist control freaks!

... I'm glad u got SOMETHING right ....hehhehehe (in your comment): IMPLANTING impotense... that is exactly what has been going on for EONS!.... Impotens of the SOUL, but so easily "observed" in men, because it eventually WILL have physiological EFFECTS.... (when of course any Modern Man with any "know how" takes a the little blue Pill.... ) when really their/our SOULS = MINDS are raped of their Dignity and decency among other gazillion faculties.... making us only a few % of what we really could -and indeed 'should' be....

The deluded ones, a relatively small band, still roam the starry spaces and channel through the wind gaps but we're getting them all herded up one by one.

A new tomorrow means a brighter today. So yes the implanter orgs business as usual is under the scope and being dealt with ever so slowly it would seem.

about what is pornography and what isn't has raged for decades in this uptight society. If you came of age in the 1950s, you remember it well. I still have a first edition (in this country) of books by D.H. Lawrence and Henry Miller, originally judged to be porn. At Quinty's Log we've talked over the current crisis in whether a radio station dares to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the court judgement that Howl is not porn by broadcasting a reading of the poem. And what about movies: what's what?

I didn't mean to argue DOWN your point of view and -of course- you are right in what you say.... it's just that the bottom line Truth "from Cosmic point" is that the whole subject line goes at least one layer deeper, so to speak... ALL imbalance to our Mind starts as INTANGIBLE imbalance. Then from there on it becomes ever more tangible/ physical; be it heart dis-ease or impotence; the BOTH are tangible/physical RESULTS of SOMETHING -that first was-INTANGIBLE!...
That is why impotence PANDEMIC is important to pay attention to and give the respectful THOUGHT/Ponderings it requires in order to find the cause and then heal it!
What is (for instance) heart-dis-ease???...( OR AUTISM for that matter!... )that can also be discussed, can it not?...and has been....and still will! To some its educational materials, to other who cant get it up if the woman or man isnt sexy, I for one would have a hard time getting turned on by an ugly fat woman, but that is just me. And I don't ever look at porn just for the same reasons as the artical states, I see plenty of sexy women just walking the streets, to each his or her own I guess. My view is still there are certine looks and types of women that do it for me, and others that just don't. Do men and women walk around town looking like porn stars? Like for instance Dallas cowboy cheer leaders, or hookers and jigalos? They do, and the first rule of thumb for me was Gilligans island, maybe the first ideas of porn, like if I had the choice of Ginger or Maryann, Id of gone for Maryann, Ginger just turns me off shes so fake, lol. Notice that I didnt mention Mrs Howell, lol. Now that Im 45, and nothing really works like it did when I was younger, I just don't see the point of having sex, when everywhere you look its all about sex, just another diversion from what our focus should be on. As is most TV, the old saying is ,"give the people what they want" and thats what most guys and gals want, sex with a hot chick or hot dude, that knows how to have sex they want. Since porn "is" about sex and lust, not love. Remember the movie Blue Lagoon? Point being that if you put 2 animals together male and female they would just figure it out, but then again the majority wouldnt have a clue unless they saw it someplace first, monkey see monkey do.

The truths of life can be a bitter pill to swallow especialy for those of us who are not perfect human specimens and also as we grow old. The topic of sexual inadiquacy and unattractiveness is a difficult one for both men and women. The fact of life is that by genetic, natural and essential part of our design is for the male to desire women, many women, in fact as many as physicaly possible even if the male isn't a good addition to the gene pool he still has this unescapable erge to lust after attractive fertile and ready to mate women. And the women that are attractive and fertile are young women. The fact that as a women gets older she becomes less attractive to men for mating purposses is as difficult for women to deal with as it is for the men to deal with that there once beautiful partner is not such a beauty anymore and also the man himself is not as virile as he once was and they themselve are less likely to score with an attractive young mate. Being a man myself i am no exception to these urges. I get pleasure looking at attractive women, and even more pleasure from looking at naked attractive women, and even more pleasure to the point of physical arrousal in looking at naked attractive women in the height of pleasure (eating cake, hehe) having sex. If men did not have this desire for women the human race would not continue. So then it is no mystery why there is a multi billion dollar industry exploiting this natural desire. Men desire and lust after women and women desire to be lusted after by men and even other women. SOME women are objects of beauty, the same as the sky at dawn or an untouched landscape like where you live Astrid. We all desire what is beautyful and what many people may call filth is actualy a display of one of the beautys of the earth. But the way in which this beauty is portrayed in porn isn't allways beautyful. I am not the finest figure of the male species ever born so the closest thing i may ever get to a stunningly beautiful woman is porn. The upset in this game are the ugly undesirables, they are the ones they campaign against and hate beauty and porn. Ugly people DO NOT get photographed for porn, and they resent the fact that they could never achieve the level of desire that these women have achieved. Theres also a flip side to the world of porn. Boy bands, period drama films, love novels, chick flicks and gossip mags is basicaly lady porn. I know ive kind of strayed from the point of the artical in question but it was a point i wanted make. I myself have never suffered from impotence with the exception of drunken encounters which have resulted in a floppy romp.

But back to the point of the artical, yes mankind and womenkind have developed impotence of the soul that sadly no pharmacutical pill can cure (although my doctor/dealer does have a great herbal remedy that keeps me spiritualy erect) Great artical.

I've been there too -in my own way; the so called Sexual Liberation of the Sixties / Seventies & > !... "Make Love. Not War" was our Slogan & Motto.Did it do any good??? In the sense that it broke asunder ETHICAL/Moral DOUBLE STANDARDS; yes.... definitely that was a good thing. Did it teach us the Cosmically TRUE TRUTH about sexuality being the last and most physical of co-creativities available to Humans as also for other Living beings, on Planet Earth? No it did not!
The time right ahead of us will bring ever more of that Insight, hence LIBERATION into a new ever more Cosmically Correct Awareness as our over all awareness of our TRUE being-ness grows (back) to where it always belonged: in our right to choose to be/come/remain COSMIC IMMORTAL BEINGS -or just MORTAL HUMANS.
People think that SURVIVAL is our deepest and most urge bringing instinct. I would argue that and say that (co-) creativity is our most prompting instinct. Co-creativity includes sexuality.

When a person leaves the Mainstream's Box ( = all the bureaucratic rules; "Laws" we are told we have to adhere to) and gets back to their own ME identity they start accessing their own Co-creativity again and the more they do so, the more the/ir sexuality changes in "how it expresses itself".... becoming ever more Cosmic (incredible, wonderful, seeing how their old sexuality was nothing but a bad ol shadow/Pretender of the "REAL THING"!!.... Now there,Steve!... think about that for a moment! heheheh.... I'm telling you the Truth here, nothing but the Truth, so help me God" as the saying goes.

Somtimes i dont allways understand what you mean, this doesn't mean that your wrong but it just demonstrates the generation gap and a deeper knowlege with age. As u know by now i like to leave politics and morals out and stick to hard facts, and that was all i was trying to do. Its not an opinion. If i was to state MY opinion on any matter it would be worded in a way that would not make me feel or look inadiquate or bad about myself. Opinions are peoples own reality that they create as a coping mechanism. Fair enough if these developed opinions get someone though the day without feeling low and unhappy then i suppose thats fine, but when its a discusion about a NEW CIVILIZATION then the truth not opinion must come out. Our exsisting civilization is run on ghost storys and insecuritys, this is NOT the way forward and never will be. The right way foward may not suit everybody, but it is a change that has to be made to save our race. This is not an attack on anybody, this is just a statement of how it is. I am not in control of facts, so please dont burn me at the stake.

I didn't mean to come accross in the way that i did, sometimes i can be a bit of a misery. But i think we've got mixed up somewhere. Well according to wikipedia -Pornography or porn is, in its broadest state, the explicit representation of the human body or sexual activity with the goal of sexual arousal and/or sexual relief. It is similar to erotica, which is the use of sexually-arousing imagery for mainly artistic purposes.

A persons view on porn will be relative. In my view theres nothing wrong about it, just like theres nothing wrong the human physical form (but not all of us are beautiful). Basicaly porn is the female form on film. When the word porn is mentioned in any context allot more than just a beautful ladys body is conjured up in there mind. The link that u gave me tells me that you are thinking of porn as being criminal violations on the innocent. This is something else entirely and is not what i am refering to in my earlier comment. This kind of porn is bad. But like everything in this world, if there wasn't a demand for it then it wouldn't exsist. The problem is WHY is there a demand for this perversion. Destroy the cause, destroy problem. Its society itself that causes perversion in people. I also didn't need to read that artical to know that most of the political government is made up of queers n nonses. The fact of all the wars and pointless murder of the innocent tell us all that theres something queer going on in the world of politics. Politics itself is queer. Porn does not make queers, queers make porn. Im sure you have seen many acts of violence on tv in film and the news, did this make you desire to commit any of the things wittnessed on tv?

To some it up in nut sack, i enjoy looking at attractive members of the opposite sex, nude if possible and if i wasn't like this then i would be queer like this perverted system. This doesn't mean that i purchase and view porn all day long. I am not a porn addict because i have seen NORMAL arrousing porn, i am merely human. There was no institution that TAUGHT me how to desire a fine female figure. Surely i haven't been brainwashed by natural instint?! :)

The problem is that women will allways see porn as a threat to their fertility, so naturaly (unless they actualy are the sexy ladys in the photos who are getting paid WELL for it) they will allways oppose it with a passion.
