Capital Subversion: New forms of money

So I am trying to figure out how to not use fiat money anymore. I've thought a lot about money and done some reading. I liked the idea of a ROCS (a Robust Complementary Community Currency System - see here)

And well I've taken a crack at a basic implementation in Perl. Yay. I wanted to do that for a long time and finally had enough proof-of-concept success with some encryption modules that I decided to give it a shot.

So now I have this thing that can be used to create keypairs, create offers, and accept offers. Everything is digitally signed, so as long as people protect their passphrases for their private keys, there should be no way to create any kind of fraudulent entries.

Now also I've finally got SSL running on my development box (thanks to people in efnet #apache for some help over the last bump in my configuration). You can reach the machine here and an externally hosted (thanks Ming) small source code bundle here

IS coming!.... but very 'discretly'!... Already there's communities that have own -local- money in circulation and doing very good indeed! NCN members just aren't that much for anything truly NEW thinking even less acting upon it. nd, granted it isn't easy -if you remain in the midst of a big city for instance. But all new strated as an idea that grew stronger and bigger and prompted ever more for the idea holder to take steps in their lives to implement the idea. The more people who take that step and make that change, the more will follow.
Humanity at large still have a window of opportunity to implement by their own free will and hence own free choise, to move in the direction of New, more fair, Monetary System, but soon that window will close and NO monetary system will be available!.... But at least we know that AFTER such a scenario, the survivors WILL come up with a New Life supporting Monetary System, to replace the one we have today; Amonetary system that supports ONLY the the people who owns the Presses that prints those the "legal" tenders.
