poem.. "New Again"

New Again

My wanton soul hides her scarred spirit
Entreating the gentle tides of love
To smooth it soft, and new again

The water stings for a time
Then the healing begins again
Blemishes disappear into memory

Your touch becomes part of me
I am filled with grace and light
Rejoicing and dancing again

And the purity of life renews
Together we are whole again
The One, the great I AM

you've taken a chunk of the earth's liquid and brought us to another shore.
very beautiful, marissa.

..going on here: this unbelievable and against all seeming odds hope that we have. Although the elements are different, I'm reminded of the phoenix.

30 Jan 2006 @ 08:31 by skookum : Funny... you should say that
I wear a jade disk carved with a phoenix...the symbol of rebirth, and the feminine Yin.

Surely I have told the story of how I got that...or have I?

and thank you judih...

I sense our connection.

30 Jan 2006 @ 08:50 by jstarrs : Ah, synchronicity...
..no you didn't, Marissa - I look forward to hearing it.

6 Feb 2006 @ 07:19 by skookum : I have written it Jeff
it's on my blog..
not a poem.. so I didn't put it here.

I love the imagery. It shows how in a moment we can be pulled from pain into peace with but a touch.
