   <content type="html"><![CDATA[<img src="http://www.newciv.org/pic/nl/catpic/50/9.gif" title="Category: Inspiration" align="right" hspace="20" vspace="10">On this Friday October 21st 2005<br><br>I will hereby declare this day to be the dawn of a new era for  the blogosphere.<br><br>The beginning of the blogocracy.<br><br>I declare, that I will work to secure the universal human rights mentioned in UNs human rights conventions and the  European Convention on Human Rights of November 4th 1950.<br><br>I will oppose measures, that restrict the right to privacy.<br><br>The measures put forth by the Danish government and the European Union in an attempt to install Data retention measures. They received the fine because of activists actioning against GMO in the headquaters of the Danish Agriculture cooperation. The house is called Axelborg. Greenpeace Denmark appealed the decision.<br><br>The anti-terror law in Denmark is so widely defined that even labour union conflicts as well as student demonstrations can be prosecuted !]]></content>

   <title>Tsnumani on Sri Lanka and a pair of glasses</title>

   <summary type="text">Amidst the big tragedy I stumbled across this thoughtful little story.  Danish newpaper Politiken.dk carved this out of all the turmoil.  During the Sunday 26th Father Charles of the Saint Mary´s Church in Matara held a ceremony. But during the ceremony he laid his glasses down on the alter. </summary>

   <title>13 year old survives 2 days afloat accompanied by Sea Serpents</title>

   <summary type="text">CAR NICOBAR, Dec. 29.— Her father had been washed away by the tsunami and she too was believed to be dead. Then came the miracle. She was washed back on shore from the sea where she had been floating since Sunday on a ripped off door of her home.</summary>

After being washed ashore yesterday, she asked to be taken to the guard house of the airbase. But she was told that it no longer existed, she asked to be taken to the runway, currently the centre of all activity of the devastated base, where 100 IAF personnel have perished.
