Civilization and post-modernism

Post-modernism is the Age of Identity and the Information Age

In earlier articles I have suggested that humanity's twin identities as human and divine will ultimately be revealed which is one reason why it is an age of identity. I have also suggested that in the transition from tribal/clan society to civilization there was a major contradiction between identity (Yin) and individuality (Yang) in which individuality, in all its many forms, triumphed and destroyed the very basis of tribal society; social, economic and political.

The wheel has come full circle and now, at this end point, we have an exactly analogous situation.
