that you would take up this subject right now as NCN members have been having a discussion about cutting the Umbillical cord of Infants ( see Sandorian Grove/jhs - whether there ever was ANY true value to it or if indeed it just was/is one of those sick idiocies so prevalent in the Western Allopathic Medicine and from when and where such a horrific procedure might have originated. Ed Dawson made the very accurate observation --supporting my own observations thru the years-- that most of the procedures in Western Hospitals are surgery based Barbarian practices to only satisfy the sickos there, the doctors' egos.
While we were discussing this so many other barbarian diagnostic tests went thru my mind....one of which was Mammograms... should I take that up as my next article subject line -or not.... you beat me to it! : ) ( also read on Jerry's blog his & my discussion about the Psychs creating illnesses where NONE exists!

I never felt good about doing mammograms ( my time at X-Ray clinic in Uppsala LäkarHuset, Sweden. ) That always was the ONE exam I felt deep in my Heart to be 100% phony and to only CREATE Breast Cancer where indeed none existed prior!... in other words; it was made to become a self fulfilling prophecy!
Today enough many have felt what I felt so many years ( I think for years i must have been the only RN in Sweden to question several Western Med.practices... ) and now you can find on InterNet people discussing this very topic & questioning it validity!

I don't want to rain on your Parade, but I really think this whole Mammogram hype just was that!...( just like hundreds of thousands un-necessary -indeed as far as diagnosis goes- FALSE Hysterectomies have been performed all over the world on women, not suspecting ANY MALPRACTICE at all!... Once again: WHO were the ones, who benefitted from those???...
On an X-Ray Cancer tumors are NOT distinguishable from other -totally harmless-fat build-ups! So when one finds a "Lump" .... if it starts hurting, throbbing or anything like that, have a biopsy done right away and then decide whether Conservative approach would do or if surgery really is the only option -which it indeed almost never is! Maybe once in ten thousand Cancer cases!
My guess is that of hundred thousand "Lumps" only one or two are cancerous BEFORE TOLD BY A DOCTOR that they are!!!... And IF you don't buy his Doom-Over-You, HE will lose a big fat Surgery profit-bill from you -as does the Hospital!.... What's wrong with this pic ?????
