RETHINKING CHRISTMAS: AN ARCHEOLOGY OF MEANINGS0 comments
27 Feb 2008 @ 09:56
[Writ. 14 December 2007, Manila]

A Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone else!

That I started with a goodwill greeting associated with the Christmas occasion doesn’t make me a church devotee of which I definitely am not. I have departed a long time ago yet from Catholic Church, my childhood church, though I am still sympathetic to some of its key doctrines of faith notably Vatican II.

On the other hand, not being a church devotee doesn’t make me any less a disciple of Jesus the Christed One. I am very much a disciple of Jesus and his team-mates of Ascended Beings, and I’d categorically declare that I am, in this respect, a Christian. It is for this reason that I do attune myself to the rituals of the Christians who are largely fanatical devotees of the Cult of Jesus which was officially dubbed as Christian Church in the generic sense.

So many fallacies and lies were propagated by the Jesusian cults (i.e. churches) over the past two (2) millennia, one of which is the contention that Jesus was born on the night of 24th of December. Nobody knows about the exact date when Jesus, the World Teacher, embodied and was born as an infant a full Age ago (1 Age = 2,150 years approximately). There are mystics today who claim that Jesus was born around the end of March, but as to the exact day of his birth (using the Gregorian calendar) no mystic had made a precise claim.  More >

ATHEISM IS AN ENEMY OF HUMAN LIBERATION0 comments

I noticed that they were largely from the middle-aged section of the urban boheme. They were the idle petite bourgeois who got nothing much to do on weekends, and so they decided to gather together every Sunday morning to concur courses of action about their supposed mission to destroy ‘religionism’ or ‘spiritism’. After having observed closely the cognitive operations and patterns of the group, I decided to pull out, having acquired my empirical data about the atheists of the present.

What I made known to the group, and ditto for other sectors of society, is that I am no atheist, that atheism and freethought are not identical, that atheism is vulgar materialism and I got nothing to do with its dissemination nor with that of its advocacies. However, there are instances when, together with some atheists within the academe, I did join them in coalition to demand for greater justice for state laborers, overseas workers, youth & students, and related sectors.  More >

 POST-COURTSHIP EROS: FREELOVE RISES0 comments

[Writ. 15 November 2007, Manila. See Blogsite: http://erleargonza.blogspot.com]

Love that is stifling, encumbering, or love that consigns one to cul de sacs isn’t true love. Love that is selfish, love that is meant to procure the greatest attention to oneself, love that is Attention Deficit satisficing, love that forces one to accept the Self which in effect rationalizes inaction towards the greater goal of self realization or inner transformation, this is the love that isn’t love but domination, manipulation, conceit, abomination.

Love must be free, love must be liberating for both sexes, love must make lovers move forward in soul evolution. I heard the lines first from one my first philosophers in high school life, John Lennon, in his many songs. “Love is free, free is love!” summarizes his philosophy. I couldn’t but agree with this popular bard.  More >

TAX THE CHURCH ASSETS & INCOMES0 comments
27 Feb 2008 @ 09:50
[Writ. 20 November 2007, Quezon City, Manila. See also: http://raefdargon.mysticblogs.com]

I will make my position here about church assets in the most transparent terms: tax church assets & incomes. I will demonstrate the great financial potency of the Church via its assets, and the possible contribution of this institution to sustaining a very healthy fiscal environment if its assets and incomes were taxed today.

So privileged is the Church—the Catholic Church—in the country that it practically exercises power in all spheres, private and public, and remains unchecked in its unbound power and abuses committed within its confines. Because the Catholic Church commands 85% of the religious devotees in the country, the Church leaders enjoy a blessing of power accorded to no other entity in the country. Not even the Presidency, no matter how popular the incumbent president may be, can command 85% of constituents supporting the chief executive’s policy initiatives at any given time.  More >

CHURCH CRIMES: WHO EXPOSES? WHO PAYS?0 comments
27 Feb 2008 @ 09:48
[Writ. 19 Nov. 2007, Manila. Please see: http://erleargonza.blogspot.com]

A devout Catholic man hurried into the cathedral in his city one day to confess to his parish priest. He felt the irresistible urge to confess and be expiated of any guilt about what he saw in the parish convent one day, and so he had to let the priest be informed right away. Let’s listen to the dialogue:

Devotee: “Bless me Father for I have sinned.”

Priest: “Go ahead Son, tell me what’s bothering you.” The devotee was as white as ash, noted the priest.

Devotee: “Father, forgive me please, but for couples of occasions now, I’ve been peeping in the convent. I’ve been seeing you and your girlfriend having sex.”

Priest: “Oh My God! What things are you talking about?” The priest now turned furious.

Devotee: “I know you’ll feel outraged Father, that’s why I am confessing this sin to you. To be exact Father, your girlfriend is Sister Ngefati, the one from the Order….”

Priest: “Alright, you’ve really been committing this sin, really grave sin! Cut it!”

Devotee: “I’m really sorry Father. What will I do?”

Priest: “To expiate yourself, you must pray 1000 Our Fathers and 5000 Hail Mary’s right now!”… Whew, what a sinful Peeping Tom!...  More >

ILLUMINATI: FRATERNITY OF MALEVOLENT OLIGARCHS0 comments
8 Feb 2008 @ 10:57
One of the most shocking knowledge that had reached me, through 25 years of inquiry, is the existence of a malevolent secret society whose Initiates have been conspiring for world domination ever since its founding in 1776. I am referring particularly to the Illuminati, established by the Bavarian Joseph Weishaupf, a Jesuit and Freemason, which supposedly uses rituals of the fire element for its initiation rites. Due to its dubious objectives and suspicious activities, the fraternity was ordered abolished by the German princes around 1786. It was forced to go underground, with the promise that one day it shall control the world's governments, oligarchs, wealth and natural resources, through a tightly hierarchical, totalitarian power arrangement.  More >

 POST-CHURCH SPIRITUALITY0 comments
8 Feb 2008 @ 10:51
Here comes the Aquarian Age! Welcome the post-Piscean Age! Hail the Post-Church Era!

Planet Earth is now at the ascending arc of her evolution. Ascension holds true for humanity, whose evolution in the dense spheres is now ending and the entry to the higher dimensions accelerating. It takes 555 million years for the entire human race to devolve & evolve—to devolve into the dense spheres, and go back to the divine spheres as evolved beings. The midpoint of the 555-million year period was reached on the 21st of September of 1934 yet (see revelations of Guru Roerick, Guru R.R.)

The ascendant route in our evolution is now way up since 1934. So cheer up, Noble Seekers! This route will see the emergence of greater individuation in the human psyche, a development that was anticipated many decades ago by the H.P. Blvavatsky, Carl Jung and Tailhard De Chardin. As mankind individuates all the more, so will the bond with the collective mind get fractured. All those institutions that sought to control humans and reduced them to automatons that lack autonomy are now crumbling. That includes Religion with the capital R.

Institutional behavior is largely effective for those with the strongest ‘herd instinct’, even as it harnesses the folk spirit or folkgeist to secure individual loyalty to society and institutions. For the highly individuated souls, institutional behavior or mass behavior is sickening and misplaced, and will seek every way to express their autonomy as ‘free spirits’ rather than dance to the sway of the folkgeist. Those high risk takers will not take second thoughts in leaving their churches, peers, kinship circles, old neighborhoods if to prove the toxic nuisance of the old ways and the highest value of their freedoms.  More >

 MESSAGE TO ASIAN SEEKERS0 comments
8 Feb 2008 @ 10:46
Asian Seekers, behold the Light coming forth from your inner spaces!

I know that you’ve been looking everywhere for teachers or gurus or ‘not-so-usual’ people who can perhaps help you ascend the heights of your Path, but few are available in your own backyards or so it seems. Believe me, there are many teachers in Asia, even in your own country, but they make their presence in so non-descript or low profile a manner that you may not even realize they are gurus when you encounter them face-to-face.

Please note the differences in styles and methods of teachers from the East and West owing to the cultural differences they’ve been exposed to. In the Philippines, as in Asia, the sayings goes that “mas malakas ang bulong kaysa sigaw” (whisper is more powerful than shout). This is the opposite in the West, where people are accustomed to articulate what they think and feel in a rather ‘noisy’ or highly noticeable manner as much as possible.  More >

DREAM AS COMPASS TO SEEKER'S PREPAREDNESS0 comments
8 Feb 2008 @ 10:43
Do make it a habit to keep tab of your dreams, Seeker. At least keep a memory tab, at most maintain a daily dream journal. Dreams reveal so much about our unconscious and superconscious states, we can’t afford to throw away this ‘tool’ of self-reflection into dustbins just like trash. Were it not for our problems of retrieval, which is a matter of short-term memory, our dreams could be total guides to our daily actions and routines.

Interpreting dreams, however, is no layman’s task. So, Noble One, please learn to interpret dreams with a modicum of mastery. In ancient language, the term exegesis was used to refer to the interpretation of texts, and exegete refers to the interpreter. Since symbolic templates of life today are regarded as text in hermeneutics (art of exegesis) and semiotics (science of signs), then it pays to be an exegete in various respects: dream interpretation, exegesis of myths, interpretation of body language, divination interpretations (e.g. tarot, palmistry, numerology, astrology, runes, I ching), etc.  More >

SEEK YE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRANSCENDENT!

Seekers, freethinkers, all you potential Lightworkers, seek ye the Light of the Transcendent! Seek for it everywhere, but of all spaces, please search for it in your inner space. For there resides your true self, your Higher Self, waiting for you to unite with it in the most sublime union you’d ever experience.

Being thus united with your Higher Self, thou will thenceforth be merged with your God- Self, nay merged with God Almighty in Shis (his/her) resplendent glory. Thus, seek ye this Path towards your self-realization, your mutation from a rough mineral material into the finest piece of jewelry, your path towards God Realization.  More >
