To our ASEAN neighbor east of Indonesia, we hope political turmoils have gone down considerably. Institution-building is a tough work to do, and I say this from experience being among those who helped build civil society groups, did capacity-building for marginal sectors, and sustain systems via social re-engineering efforts.
Just some couples of years back, Timor Leste experienced one turmoil after another, with certain fanatical mob groups brandishing machetes and hunting down perceived adversaries. Signs that East Timor has got a long way to go to building a culture of peace and respect for multi-ethnicity. More >

Railway projects are now rising in Kampuchea. This is a most welcome news.
The days of Khmer Rouge pogrom on the Cambodian people is way behind us now, as a quarter of a century had elapsed since those gory days of Killing Fields. The intelligentsia, badly decimated by the genocide of the demonic regime, is now seeing new faces from among the younger generations, faces who comprise the emerging development stakeholders there. Writing from within the purview of Theos Sophia or divine wisdom, I will clarify in this note that channeling—spiritist mediumship as it was known previously—lies outside the Divine Plan. Fact is, as elucidated by me in other articles, channelers comprise a large part of the articulators known as ‘false prophets’ that Master John the Beloved forewarned us about 2,000 years ago in his Revelations book. Theos Sophia or divine wisdom was brought unto mankind by the spiritual masters who constitute the spiritual Brotherhood or Divine Elders. It was for a long time passed on exclusively to the Initiates of the ‘inner mysteries’, till around the latter 19th century’s half when the spiritual Hierarchy gave the go signal to offer Theos Sophia to the general public in the most open form possible. Theos Sophia, to make it clear, isn’t ‘angel wisdom’. More >

While the rugs under our feet our changing, the old context of large classes (class sizes of 100-250) are still in vogue in many universities worldwide. Some other universities that may have abolished them in the past, are re-instituting the large class platform. More >

Large classes are a thing of the past. The large class modality was referred to as ‘Great Man pedagogy’ in Europe, and was critically challenged by the youth and professors during the stormy youth heydays of the 1960s and ‘70s. More >

HACIENDA LUISITA REMAINS THORNY & THREAT-FILLED
The thorny Hacienda Luisita, among the grand estates of the Cojuangco family, remains as threat-filled as ever. It is a showcase of a land reform executive decision that has gone haywire. The Supreme Court’s lackadaisical behavior shown with respect to this case has made the issue more murky. More >

Theos Sophia or divine wisdom did account for spiritist mediumship, with many pages devoted to it alone in the Letters of Mahatmas to A.Sinnett. It was called Spiritualism in the 19th century, was well studied by the Master-Adepts of the Brotherhood, with HP Blavatsky devoting many articles and discussions about it herself (see book Isis Unveiled).
