CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR): CORPORATE DEODORANT OF ‘LATE’ CAPITALISM0 comments
category picture26 Sep 2008 @ 07:52
Asians put greater stress on ‘becoming’ as a category more than ‘being’ (Westerner’s granite category), that is why we Asians are inclined to see positive reformations of things or beings whose evils may be irredeemable. And this I can say of CSR: it is an ideological deodorant for Big Business greed, but somehow it can be reformed. To use Organization Development language, it can be ‘re-engineered’.

CSR is already a re-engineering of philanthropy in fact, and belongs squarely to ‘late’ capitalism. Old fogey philanthropy operated with a Victorian underpinning: I possess the money, and you recipient are a Beggar who came to me. You are lucky enough because I am giving you part of my purse, for I have none reserved for you folks save for the theatres, performers and socialite circles thay may the better be served by my extra monies for posterity’s sake. …  More >

CAPITALISM’S DEMISE: WHAT WENT WRONG?2 comments
category picture18 Sep 2008 @ 11:48
To all fellow men and women out there who may have deep fondness for the liberal capitalist model of economic adaptation, I hope that you can make some adjustments in your cognitive banks. Capitalism is not a permanent facet of human life, but merely one among various epochs that will come to pass. Only impermanence is sacrosanct in the cosmos, so please refrain from singing hallelujah to a world system that is on its death knell as I articulated in a previous article.  More >

SOROS, EURO-OLIGARCHS BEHIND GEORGIAN ‘DEMOCRACY REVOLUTION’0 comments
category picture3 Sep 2008 @ 07:24
Back to our Georgia-Russia peregrinations, we may wonder whether oligarchic operators were behind the so-called ‘revolution’ that toppled former Georgian leader Shevarnadze. I am much aware of the machinations of Anglo-American-European oligarchs in toppling the Marcos regime in the 80s and its replacement by the oligarchic stooge Corazon Aquino.

Below is a report from the Executive Intelligence Review that identifies practically the same circles and networks of elites that were responsible for the toppling of various regimes world-wide, in the guise of ‘open society’ or ‘liberalization’ or ‘democratization’ of supposedly authoritarian regimes. From Marcos and others to Shevarnadze and those yet forthcoming, ‘regime change’ has been the handiwork of predatory oligarchic manipulators.  More >

EU-BRITISH OLIGARCHS PRACTICE WAR VIA VASSAL GEORGIA0 comments
category picture31 Aug 2008 @ 08:50
The ‘peace arena’ is getting to be fuzzier by the day as armed hostilities are escalating worldwide. The latest among these was that brief full-scale hostilities between Georgia and Russia, hostilities that were directly related to South Ossetia.

On the level of appearance, it was a conflict among neighbors Georgia and Russia. However, when one reflects on the added facet of Georgia’s application to the NATO as a member-state, the underpinning machinations of the Anglo-European oligarchs will be easily seen.

As already elucidated by this analyst, the global oligarchy had already formulated the blueprint for its wars of the future and the mutation of the EU and USA into totalitarian police states in the short run. Global ‘synergistic anarchy’ (synarchy), modeled after the ancient Empire of Rome, is a key strategy of the same oligarchic circles to foment conflicts across the globe, aimed as always to preposition the financier and industrial interests of their respective families and members.  More >

WAR WITH IRAN: OIL-BASED ARGUMENT0 comments
category picture25 Aug 2008 @ 10:02
As I write this introductory note, war between Russia and Georgia suddenly erupted like some unexpected wildfire. The Russia-Georgia conflict over South Ossetia had attracted world attention, no doubt, but this conflict will die in days to come. This isn’t the ‘war of the century’ but merely a bushfire among neighbors.

The war of the West with Iran is the one to watch, as this one can trigger a 3rd World War that will pit many countries on each side of the competing forces. It will begin with the Shi’ite-Sunni conflict, and then reshape later into a war of world powers and their Semitic vassal-states.
Here is an article that uses the ‘oil thesis’ to argue about what will cause the war with Iran. A US-centric argument, it is worth our reading, though in my own analysis the war goes larger than a US conflict with Persia.  More >

IS THE WTO DEAD? WHAT SAYETH THINE PHYSIOCRATS?0 comments
category picture25 Aug 2008 @ 09:58
The World Trade Organization may be dead in the woods. We may need to prepare dirges as a form of respect for this deadwood institution. It isn’t working at all, this idea of global trade regime galvanized as WTO and the GATT before it.

Probably the idea of ‘globalization’ as proposed by contemporary thinkers, which concretely incarnated in the institution of the WTO, may have been badly incubated. It’s like forcing antiquarian ideas of free trade—writ by physiocrats of France (Quesnay et al) and Scotland (Adam Smith, et al)—unto a context that is altogether different.

Remember that free trade could have never worked at all without imperialism, that Smith’s idea of free trade was in fact a policy project of the British East India Company which had Smith on its payroll. Without imperialism, free trade can’t be enforced.  More >

TESTING NEW EARTHQUAKE-CAUSING WMD ON CHINA0 comments
category picture15 May 2008 @ 09:54

As I was browsing through the pages of the newspapers this morning, my eyes immediately caught the item about the China earthquake update. The latest quake flattened many towns to ground level, killing over 22,000 folks, and destroyed infrastructures thus cutting off the affected areas from outside relief operations. The quake registered 7.9 magnitude on Reichster.

That quake was 2000 times more powerful than the Big One that struck Luzon in the early 1990s and caused extensive damages across couples of regions and cities. Obviously much bigger, the China quake must be expected to wreak greater destruction than Luzon’s (Philippine’s) big tremor.

The difference between the Luzon and Sichuan (China) quakes is not just magnitude and damages however. The Luzon quake was natural, as it had got to do with tectonic plate movements. Past the Luzon quake came those secret innovations on building a new weapon of mass destruction or WMD, the leading one being the Tesla Earthquake Machine or Tesla-EM (my own term for it). China’s quake has got to do more with the latter, though its own authorities may keep mum about their findings.  More >
