4 Mar 2010 @ 13:20, by Scotty When I was wee I remember mum taking me and my wee brother to the circus ! Jeeze what a let down ! I didn't think the clowns were funny - just ridiculous ! I was so upset about all the poor animals there too despite the endless assurances of mum that they were all well cared for - I couldn't get her to see that these magnificent creatures were meant to be free ! My biggest disappointment however was the Magician ! I believed in magic you see ! Really I did ! REAL Magic ! With all the fanfare and paraphernalia that goes with the occasion he finally appeared in the ring .... At one moment I must have been quite blue in the face because I daren't even breathe in case I missed something !! I remember the lights going down - the spotlight shone on him .. gosh he was magnificent in his tails 'n topper ... I just tingled in the excitement and the thrill of it all .. then he began .. with much ado (about absolutely nothing as it turned out ) he pulled out coloured little squares from out of the air .. then white doves .. then there was the obligatory rabbit from his hat .. the disappearing lady .. I mean like PULEEZE ! I know I was only a wee child - but I just KNEW that I was being conned ! I just knew that he was tricking us .. I couldn't figure it out of course - but I felt soooo cheated ! So wronged ! He was just a fraud ! It was just sooooo unfair ... I couldn't hide my disappointment - was seen to be an ungrateful wretch ! I knew that Magic existed you see ... REAL Magic ! I know it exists because when I was wee everything was Magical ! How did seeds turn into flowers - magic ! How did bees make honey - magic! How did birds find their way home to their nests - magic ! How did a spider spin her web - magic ! My whole world was magic ! I believed in Princes and Princesses and Witches 'n Wizards I believed that if I really wished hard enough that my wish would come true ! Today - I've gone full cycle ! I BELIEVE IN MAGIC ! REAL Magic ! Maybe it's called something else - like 'manifesting' ! Every day more and more scientists are proving that real magic exists ! Don't believe me eh ! Think back to when you were wee - weren't you told stories - fairy stories Magical stories ... Wasn't your world transformed into wonderment and beauty ! Where do you think all these wonderful stories came from !! They were all wound around truth - the truth about magic - the truth about being in the world ! Sure as time passed they became a little distorted - corrupted even ! But in the begining - when the stories were a way of passing on information to people who couldn't read - the stories held the truths of the world.. a world that hasn't changed - only our perception of it has ! start reading books like The Biology of Belief or quantum physics or whatever it doesn't matter ... just break out of the mind-set that we were squeezed into when we were kids and start believing again ! What you Believe matters !!!!! You want real magic in your reality ? Well ? What's stopping you ? Trust yourself - trust your dreams - trust that part of you that's been hidden away so deeply for so long ... Dare to go down the rabbit hole ! Dare to take the red pill ! Live in the world of your Magic !
