A sentence, paragraph, or even bullet-points kick-start the process. Ideas can be simple and non-technical. It should be easy for anyone and everyone to help shape the future of the Web. So throw your notions, inspirations, dreams and visions out to the community. [link] "So the truth is out and freely available. And America is still napping, worrying about its weight, and hanging out at the mall." ~ N.K. Get back inside your Klein bottle, Naomi, you do not know America most of which is hidden to `your' eyes. Come out and meet her face to face! 7 Aug 2008 @ 11:46 by jazzolog : The Joke Few NCN members are more hidden to our eyes than Mr. Vaxen. If you want to accept his invitation to come out to meet America with him, Naomi, his current Profile lists his address as the Vatican.
PS If the reference to the Klein bottle, here 3 pictured inside each other, is a play upon Naomi's last name, Naomi Klein is another person. [link] 7 Aug 2008 @ 16:46 by celestial : CRY, WOLF, CRY. HOWL, WOLF, HOWL. Hi Richard and Vax. The comment by Vax threw me off as I had glossed over the initials N.K. Some how I had attributed the comment to N. Wolf. Thanks Richard for helping me to dislodge the lie within my brain! Naomi Wolf wrote an excellent article, a master piece in my humble opinion. In reference to her plea to foreign contries, I've made reference to the Lilliputians (foreign nations) tying up Gulliver (USA) in previous comments elsewhere at NCN. Our nation is on the road to obliteration if we don't change our ways. This war in Iraq falls on the shoulder of President Bush and his adminisTRAITORS. Mr Bush will only be good for one thing more after his term expires; he shall be made an example of. What's coming down the pike for him in the future won't be pleasant; to say the least it will be disgrace and utter ruin! ALL PRESIDENTS MUST BOW TO THE KING! 7 Aug 2008 @ 17:53 by vaxen : Heh, heh... indeed so! Disinformation extravaganza... The Klein bottle can be used as the basis for time travel matrices. When is a Klein a Wolf? When is a Wolf a Klein? Indeed are worlds altered by such subtleties in motions perceptions. Tit for tat? Zero sum? Ars Technica? And the "If this administration gets away with...?" Even a cursory study of the real 'American' history will show you that "this administration" is just another facet/face of all other administrations. The end is to be found in the beginning as in all 'things.' In 1962 I was fighting a war to preserve American dope markets from communist overrun. Spent 9 years in the middle east doing the same and more time elsewhere doing the same... We are still doing the same thing. Narco Profits are up, Ms. Wolf, in case you hadn't noticed. Oh, maybe it's because wall street is so good at laundering all the cash... Narco Politics breed good Whitehouse buddies. Ever check out Obamas' ins with the Chicago gang? No? You should... When is a Wolf a Klein? 8 Aug 2008 @ 08:58 by jazzolog : Speaking Of Cursory Study Vaxen's time in a bottle probably is not the same as Jim Croce's, what with traveling to different worlds and all that, but a focused reading will reveal a last name prevents all women from being the same. That IS Naomi Wolf's comment about overweight Yanks huffing and puffing around the mall, Celestial. Fourth "paragraph" in her article.
8 Aug 2008 @ 18:03 by vaxen : Perhaps... the Wolfs and the Croces of this world should spend a little more time 'in' the streets with the upwards of 80 million 'Americans' who are homeless to see that not all Americans are Huffington and Puffington in those icons of a bygone era called malls. They might chance to get to know generation millenium as well to see the real lack of interest in Mass Media delusions perpetrated by hacks for profit such as they. There exists an America so different, so imbedded, so extreme that it is, as it were, invisible to the fly by night pundit ... yet reveals itself to the truly alive, and real, beyond the virtual reality screens of the apple gadget factories of South East Asia and Baharat. Beyond the Corporatocracy of the beltway... they live. Wolf endorses Obama, a globalist & CFR man whose main advisor is Zbigniew Brzezinsky. This says a lot about dear Naomi. When is a Klein a Kleiner? When is a left handed sheep a right handed Wolf? America will live on in spite of the traitors within. For America is an idea and an ideal which dwells, like the New Jerusalem, in all human hearts and cannot be destroyed via political hackery and inane rhetoric. Liberty and Freedom begin in the mind with a single thought. Shock and Awe? You might want to check out the Knight Foundation, jazzo, for it has a cool $25 Million Grant in the offing for Citizen Journalists with convincing new ideas. [link] 8 Aug 2008 @ 18:45 by celestial : Yes, Jazz, I read it correctly the first time. Some how Vax's comment switched it. I'm trying to figure my brain out and how it happened. Some flaw somewhere; occasionally I forget I AM THE CURSOR. F.Y.I. Vax, Ming is the king! Proverb...A king that sits in the throne of judgment scatters away all evil with his eyes. A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresses not in judgment. Messengers of death immediately follow the wrath of the king! The fear of the king is as the roaring of the lion: whosoever provokes him to anger sins against his own soul. 8 Aug 2008 @ 21:12 by bushman : lol A king only rules and is heard in one land, where as an emperor rules many lands and is heard in many. 8 Aug 2008 @ 22:58 by vaxen : And we... sentence kings and emperors and wannabees alike to years of servitude. Who are we? ([link]) P.S. Celestial be more direct in just what it is you mean. This agency, NCN, has no King, Queen, resident president, or anything 'smacking' of 'government.' So...you're "FYI Vax" makes no sense to Vax. Vaxhearders: Unite! [link] 9 Aug 2008 @ 10:14 by celestial : Bushman, You're perfectly right about the king only ruling and is heard in one land. The earth IS one land! 9 Aug 2008 @ 10:15 by celestial : Vaxen, I'm extremely curious; why haven't you all then sentenced President George Bush Jr. and his administraitors to years of servitude? What are you waiting on? Ecc.8:11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. It's a perfectly clear statement, "Ming is the king." Here at N.C.N. he may choose not to be but on the street, in real time, he is whether he realizes it or not! What's with "Vaxhearders: Unite?" You better get busy real quick; I'm firing up the furnace! 9 Aug 2008 @ 19:12 by bushman : Hmm Assuming the info in that book was writen by the real creator entity. There is no proof either way. King for a day? Surly there is time for war or a god who would rather see his creation in constnt war with itself. Like the blemish on the face, popping the zit, never gets rid of the true reason its there. A king is a King if a King acts as the King thru works in all time, not a mere 4 to 8 years, so to be at the place you see the world should be in, would mean constant world war fighting itself for all time. It dosnt matter who rules, one day it all ends wheather the unjust or the just, either one concludes with the destruction of Earth. 9 Aug 2008 @ 19:37 by celestial : Bushman, A one world government will actually break that cycle; it is the first step toward "a more perfect union!" Criminals will run it first. Why? They will be USED to "debug" the program! That period of time is referred to as the tribulation in Revelations. That is why Ming is the king for now; he is to "oversee" (behind the scenes) until the New Civilization takes over, a system where no one has absolute power! 9 Aug 2008 @ 20:38 by vaxen : Fire it up... Celestial. Google vaxhearders. As for evil? Look at the big picture. Bush was sentenced before this world began so... dichotomies rarely reflect the synergy of the overall forces at play in any one isolated incident... Public behavior is nurtured in private; earthshaking measures come from careful steps. Let you who is without sin cast the first stone. Still no kings at NCN... 10 Aug 2008 @ 05:52 by bushman : Still it makes no differance, good will become bad and bad will be good, in the end even the most richious will be to blame for the total destruction of the Earth, NWO in the end still destroys the planet in its strugle to become one with her. 10 Aug 2008 @ 09:22 by vaxen : It is... one view amongst myriads bushman. I choose to adopt a different view one that says the NWO is composed of a particularly vile yet small group of creatures who may not even be of this/from this planet. That we have the power to avert the destruction of this Earth via ignorance and greed is an absolute knowledge from where I stand. I may not wish to avert that destruction though. Creation, preservation, destruction. Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva. Holograms are instructive. Nothing ever really dies just changes form. So...where's our jazzolog? Back to my Klein bottles, then, and infinite configurations, in Kernel mode, of optimization fertilisations requiring input from the viewer otherwise known as the Oneness of Subject and Object. Nin Po Ikka. One mind, one verse... Mynd is memory and that's a key. What can we re-member from tomorrows yesterday today? 10 Aug 2008 @ 10:51 by jazzolog : I Should Have Titled This Thing "Shocking IndictmentS." No, not because of this loose thread about NCN's once and future king. (Wasn't Ming an emperor?) I live a happier life now not discussing NCN, its history or potential. But because of the uncanny ability of Democrats to shoot themselves in the foot. Is that better than shooting your grouse companion in the face? Talk about the lesser of 2 weevils! [link] Or Maureen Dowd this morning taking John Edwards apart---limb from limb---without mussing up his hair. [link] I shall retire to Bedlam. So where was I yesterday? Hauling water, stacking wood. And the daughter had a sleepover Saturday night. Well, the girls did intend to sleep down and across the creek where I've carved out a little picnic glen. The tent was pitched and the girls snuggily bagged for the night---when, upon the stroke of midnight, I heard a scream from down there. A twig had snapped I guess...and so up to the house they came running, which meant the camping went on down here, bodies stretched out preventing access to the computer at my regular ungodly hours. Carry on. 10 Aug 2008 @ 19:35 by vaxen : Two heads... one party. Both at your expense. The good old Hegelian Dialectic in a nut house. Psy Ops are being used against the electorate in a major and very successful way. What can you expect when the governments propaganda orgs are run, and owned, by orgs like the CIA? The electorate? Know what Karl Rove thinks of them (With good reason) don't you? It's very funny if you really look at it all close up from your entrenchment in Bedlam. McCain and Kissinger, Obama and Brzezinsky, The Devil and Alexander Hamilton. The Olympics are on and big business rules the hour. The electoral college swoons and Joe and Sally glare with glazed eyes at the T.V. screen, or twitter their nights away (Still glaze-eyedly) dreaming the American Dream which died so long ago. The Corporatocracy dances madly, drunkenly, in the streets. Blackwater pisses in the face of liberty and they've a new gun out. Lovely! America's winding sheet... America, America, land of the walking dead, owned lock stock and barrel by the criminal few, your liberty lies rotting in the streets of Sumer-land nightmares. Come, now, to supper...let us drink the night away. What a great day that was, seeing Nancy Pelosi bang the gavel down to open Congress. And what was her first act? It's an old report but still a very interesting read, and we present a few nuggets along with the download. The Increase in Social Interaction In every developed country man has become much more of a social animal than before. There has been an explosion of human interaction and correlatively a tremendous increase in social pressure. The social texture of human life has become -- and is becoming -- more and more complex, and it's management more difficult. Dispersion, fragmentation and simple ranking have been replaced by concentration, interdependence, and a complex texture. Organized systems have become tremendously more complex, and they tend to prevail, in a much more composite and complex social system, over the more simple forms of yesterday. Because of the basic importance of the comtemporary complex social texture, it's management has a crucial importance which raises the problem of social control of the individual. The Democractic Challenge to Authority The essence of the democratic surge of the 1960s was a general challenge to the existing systems of authority, public and private. In one form or another, this challenge manifested itself in the family, the university, business, public and private associations, politics, the government bureaucracy, and the military services. People no longer felt the compulsion to obey those whom they had previously considered superior to themselves in age, rank, status, expertise, character and talents. Within most organizations, discipline eased and differences in status became blurred. Each group its right to participate equally -- and perhaps more than equally -- in the decisions which affected itself. A Question of Vision What is in short supply in Democratic societies today is not consensus on the rules of the game, but a sense of purpose as to what one should achieve by playing the game. In the past, people found their purposes in religion, in nationalism, and in ideology. But neither church, nor state, nor class now commands people's loyalties. In some measure, Democracy itself was inspired by manifestations of each of these forces and commitments. Protestantism sanctified the individual conscience; nationalism postulated the equality of citizens; and liberalism provided the rationale for a limited government based on consent. But now all three gods have failed. We have witnessed the dissipation of religion, the withering away of nationalism, and the decline -- if not the end -- of class-based ideology. The Dangers of Freedom The democratic spirit is egalitarian, individualistic, populist and impatient with distinctions of class and rank. The spread of that spirit weaks the traditional threats to democracy posed by such groups as the aristocracy, the church and the military. At the same time, the pervasive spirit of democracy may pose an intrinsic threat and undermine all forms of association, weakening the social bonds which hold together family, enterprise, and community. Every social organization requires, in some measure, inequalities in authority and distinctions in function. To the extent that the spread of democratic temper corrodes all these, exercising a leveling and homogenizing influence, it destroys the bases of trust and cooperation among citizens, and creates obstacles to collaboration of any common purpose. Hope this meets with your approval, oh jazzolog? 11 Aug 2008 @ 08:52 by jazzolog : Mr. Fish On The One 11 Aug 2008 @ 23:28 by FedNix @70.246.72.42 : Naomi nails it Naomi nails it, but people don't want to hear the truth. So they'd rather shoot the messenger. Vaxen has much to say but it amounts to much noise signifying nothing. A few astute comments or observations, but no solutions, or anything close to a positive suggestion. The Trilateral Commission report contains much useful information, but again, no real solutions, since it misses the main problems: money and economics. Our corrupt American and world monetary and economic systems are the NWO. Why can't people see that? Totalitarian power is the only real threat, but political parties and dualing ideologies are too busy accusing each other to see that. Communism, socialism, fascism, capitalism.. are all enemies of mankind as long as they lack checks and balances to unrestrained, unregulated power. Monopolistic monetary power is the current threat, and the American Fed and International Central Bankers control our current emerging NWO. You don't need to look for aliens, Vaxen, unless you consider the followers of Adam Smith aliens. I hasten to add that Marx and Engels are equally flawed. True answers lie somewhere in between and with additions and corrections. The conclusion I've reached during my seven decade time span here is that the current economic models we (our world order) are using are corrupt, and indeed need changing. But it is probably too late to effect those changes, peacefully or otherwise. The forces of the NWO are too powerful, entrenched, evil, and ruthless. We are in something very akin to a "Star Wars" situation here on our little isolated planet. Cutting to the bottom line, we are now entering an apocalyptic situation, where much if not most of our current civilization will self-destruct. It will change itself, and all that really spiritually minded idealists need do is lay down a network for drawing up plans for this new civilization. Most likely it will need to be rebuilt from the ground up, with new local constitutions, charters of liberties and freedoms with commensurate responsibilities. The big task will be to identify what flaws have existed in our current constitutions that have allowed today's conditions to evolve, and then correct those flaws. No small task to be sure :-) The biggest flaws I have found is in balancing public, corporate and private powers, and representation of real live human citizens at every government level. Specifically the system of creating and controlling money properly belongs with the people, i.e., a representative government. Today it is controlled by private central bankers who create money out of nothing and indebt our civilization with usurious interest rates. We, and our progeny, wind up with unpayable unsustainable debt. We become indentured servants to the Money-Masters. We have to limit the size and power of corporations. We now have government of, by and for the corporations and bankers, rather than the citizens. We have to provide for genuine education and information, without which a republic or democracy cannot long be sustained. We have to elect and select the best and brightest among us for public office and trust. Few men or women of real integrity would subject themselves to today's electoral Roman Circus. We have to provide lifelong education for those who wish to progress as citizens. Sufferage should be differentiated so that the best and brightest citizens can earn extra ballots through educational and civic achievement and service. I could go on, but my time is limited. In summary I will repeat that I doubt that anything anyone could do could prevent the dissolution and eventual destruction of the current World Order. A purely profit-motivated economics is doomed. Our system of representation and checks and balances must be rethought and overhauled. You've led me on a merry chase however, since I usually try to find out if Google knows who someone is who's just dropped in. FedNix leaves us his email address, which I intend to use, and apparently visited Shreepal's log before coming in here. Fortunately that post contained the same links that he attempted to paste here. Pasting of course, at NCN, does not yield the hyperlinks...but I was able to reconstruct them---since you also can't edit your comments here as a visitor. (Sigh...some things left to improve at the new civilization.) Jere L. Hough clearly is a very knowledgeable gentleman, commenting and reviewing history and analysis books on very big ideas at Amazon, where his handle is Truthseeker. [link] More recently he is a frequent contributor to the Gold Forum at Kitco Bullion Dealers. [link] He also wrote an interesting review of a book called Unforgiven: The American Economic System Sold For Debt And War. I'm just browsing around your NCN site, and like what I see. So I signed up as JLHough and am awaiting approval to log on. Thanks for fixing the links. I did look for a way to edit them, and found none, as you mentioned. I'm sure I'll comment more when the occasion arises. Yup, building a better world sure gets top billing with me these days. The wheels are coming of this old wagon, for better or worse. I've read and watched both Naomi Wolf and Klein, and have materials by them. I have Shock Doctrine sitting on my desk now. That's some pretty good detective work you did. You went to some trouble to check me out, but missed the boat on Gambanshee. I haven't had time to get involved with online games, tho I have dabbled in a few of them at home, and may have briefly visited GB at some point. I didn't have as much luck with your name. More than a few Richard Carlsons. Are you the author of For the Love of God? I haven't read that one yet, but I do a lot of reading into theology and metaphysics, way more than the average bear. I have read much of Marianne Williamson, Buckminster Fuller, Neale Donald Walsh, Emmet Fox, etc. My main interests are in theology, philosophy, socioeconomics, history, and politics, but I really take in anything I think is useful and adds to our life experience here in this wet gassy blue space ball we call home. I'll get back to you when I can. I much that I see on your site. Be with God, Jere 23 Aug 2008 @ 11:39 by jazzolog : Ohio Voting Machines---Again "It's not the voting that's democracy, it's the counting". : Al Smith - Source: in a speech in Albany, NY Undoubtedly you heard yesterday the news, I guess scooped by the Washington Post, about the unfortunate error with all the Diebold voting machines used not only in Ohio but 34 other states for the past 10 years. Here's just a little edited version---and then, after that, I have a few questions (which I posted at the newspaper's site)~~~ "A voting system used in 34 states contains a critical programming error that can cause votes to be dropped while being electronically transferred from memory cards to a central tallying point, the manufacturer acknowledges. "The problem was identified after complaints from Ohio elections officials following the March primary there, but the logic error that is the root of the problem has been part of the software for 10 years, said Chris Riggall, a spokesman for Premier Election Solutions, formerly known as Diebold. "The flawed software is on both touch screen and optical scan voting machines made by Premier and the problem with vote counts is most likely to affect larger jurisdictions that feed many memory cards to a central counting database rapidly." [link] "A logic error?" What's that? And why accept Wriggle's description of the programming as an error? For all the elections of the past 10 years, in the states in which Premier Election "Solutions" (Diebold's solutions having served their purpose and died boldly) machines were used, the logic "error" was programmed in. The "error" is that in heavily populated districts (inner city?) where apparently the machines provided are fewest per capita (why is that?) votes (who knows how many?) got dropped (or flipped?). Historically, would those votes most "logically" have been Republican or Democrat? Is that the Rovian genius of the plot? Is this "The Hidden Campaign" of the headline? 23 Aug 2008 @ 17:03 by Quinty @68.9.133.5 : That's what everyone's been saying. That the hidden hand of a tiny shot of electricity can offer up a huge concrete reality. The final tally. Just thought I'd point out the obvious. But concerned folks have been clamoring about this a long time now. Ah, democracy. How much can be accomplished through all the confusion. And how willing so many are to believe. Whatever the obfuscation. In the giddy world of George Bush we seem to have surpassed ourselves. E. L. Doctorow said something nice lately: "the president we elect is the country we get." But who's going to watch the electricity, that wily electricity, wherever it goes? And how it goes? Whereas paper is so old fashioned and bulky, don't you know? So "yesterday." There bureaucrats out there who love the trendy, especially if it is hi tech. Electronic voting machines promise so much. If only they could be trusted. Though some of these election officials may know something they don't want to let on they know. A little current of electricity can be kept in the dark. No one sees the hand that moves it. Our natural inclination toward paranoia is aroused. Problem is, this time paranoia is a healthy response. And this latest news proves it. It's not even Sunday yet but you have just had a sermon...... 28 Aug 2008 @ 10:19 by jazzolog : Trouble Stirring For Obama The Philadelphia Times-Herald is carrying this headline this morning~~~ 08/28/2008 Motion denied in Obama lawsuit By: KEITH PHUCAS , Times Herald Staff PHILADELPHIA - A Lafayette Hill lawyer who filed a legal challenge to Sen. Barack Obama's presidential candidacy claiming he doesn't meet U.S. residency requirements had a motion for a temporary restraining order denied Friday. A day earlier, Philip Berg filed a motion for a temporary restraining order in federal court in Philadelphia questioning the authenticity of Obama's Hawaii birth certificate and claiming the Illinois senator was actually born in Kenya, according to court papers. Though the motion was denied, Berg said he was encouraged that Judge R. Barclay Surrick did not dismiss the lawsuit. The litigation also sought "expedited discovery." "We're still waiting to serve the senator," Berg said in a telephone interview Wednesday. Discovery would include examining the candidate's birth certificate and adoption papers, among other documents, Berg said. Besides Obama, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Federal Election Commission (FEC) are also named as defendants. In the motion's supporting memorandum, Berg charges that the DNC failed to verify Obama's eligibility to run for president. [link] More of the story is at that link. Berg has been significant in Democratic Party workings for a long time, has been a candidate for offices, and is reportedly a Hillary Clinton supporter. So far as I know the story first surfaced over the weekend at GlobalResearch.ca here~~~ [link] Personally, I've never felt comfortable with the Constitution's requirement for office of United States citizenship. 28 Aug 2008 @ 13:45 by quinty : The Creatures of the Night (talk radio jocks that is) jumped on this too. It fits into their theme of Obama the foreign exotic, the secret Muslim, the blackman in an empty whiteman's suit. And the allegation fuels the kind of paranoid uncertainty this brand of rightwinger thrives on. But wouldn't it be extraordinary if it were true? The biggest hoax perpetrated in American politics! At this time I think we can assume the charge emerged out from under the same rock the Swift Boat guys came from. This is their kind of meat. As disgusting as it is bring out your birth certificate, Barack, and quickly end the rumors and suspicions. Though we know, of course, there will always be those who believe Barack was sent here by Osama. 28 Aug 2008 @ 16:17 by jazzolog : A Forgery If there is a forgery here, it could be possible Barack knew nothing of it. Maybe Mom wanted a US birth certificate for any number of reasons. Surely if he was born in Hawaii rather than Kenya, there are records in the state. 28 Aug 2008 @ 18:55 by bushman : Also I dont see mentioned, non-states dellegates, like Guam and American Samoa have state dellegates, how can they have voting power with out being a state? There is a couple others I think too, yet our flag does not show 54 stars on it yet.
