 Double Messages and/or Liars3 comments
picture28 May 2004 @ 20:01
I am going to keep this brief and not allow comments. I cannot take most people here at face value anymore. To be honest I feel I am in high school when I read conversations and some comments. I say this with sadness, not judgement.

There is a difference between being honest and seeming positive. Being honest doesn't mean one is negative and/or only sees what is wrong in the world. It just means one has courage, love, honesty and respect for the truth, no matter what that truth reveals. Double messages are not loving.

Saying one is loving and/or forgiving does NOT make them that way. It is also not loving or forgiving to indulge madness and/or corruption.

This is a Spiritual Forum. One where people are supposed to come together and see the unity of all life in all the cosmos, and actually initiate change.

What do I mean by double messages and liars? Here are some examples:

I hear so much about love. Loving oneself and loving others. This is said in the same breath as people take sides and justify killing, destruction, forcing people from their homes and torture. Now honestly, isn't this a double message?

I hear we are all one, yet people separate others by race, religion and etc. We are all one, but depending on what group you belong to, other groups are wrong and/or no good. For example....Arabs don't take care of their own, Rebublicans are wrong, the Jews have always been persecuted, men vs women. Are we all one or not?

There is horror expressed at the site of sex and things considered pornographic, but invading countries without just cause, killing, maiming and/or raping people in other lands is talked about, rationalized and considered somewhat ok. Using up our natural resources, destroying the earth, children without arms in wars for no reason is spoken of, but without true action to make a change.... BUT DON'T YOU DARE SHOW ME NUDITY OR TWO PEOPLE ENGAGING IN SEX....OH MY!

This is supposedly the place to come to where people see beyond social norms, and the everday 3D. That has not been evident most of the time.

Yes we are all from the same source, therefore when do we start taking responsibility for that and coming from the love, potential, infinite/cosmic meaning of what that truly means?

Therefore one has to conclude that people here on NCN, are no different than the average person who does not do spiritual work. In fact, I hold you all more responsible, because at least you are on some kind of quest for a better world. Don't just get insulted now, take a look, think about it, and for all our sakes...take it seriously and take real action.

Unfortunately, as I write this, the question in my mind, is why am I writing this? Very few are going to take it seriously or do anything to change.....there is too much invested in the ego and image they hold on to so dearly.  More >

 A fond farewell........16 comments

I wrote this as an answer on my news log and I post it here as a farewell…

An explanation.....

When I have a discussion with anyone, my goal is to see clearer what is the truth. That is why I take the time to answer comments within comments, so that points are talked about and conclusions can be made. I really don't care who is right or wrong, I only care what the truth is. This is often misunderstood as criticism or attack and sometimes even negativity. Inevitably the discussions usually, if not always, end in the same way. That is, I ask for specific points and the discussion is stopped and the questions ignored. Now again, this is not an attack on anyone, it is an observation.

I really don't understand this. I wonder if anyone would truly like to come to resolutions or conclusions? Now, I am not saying that all these conclusions would solve all the world problems and issues, but doesn't anyone care to look honestly at the world situation and deduce conclusions that may actually bring about a change in consciousness? When I say things such as, I take no sides....that is a very strong statement and one that I would not think would be taken lightly. I hear talk of yes I/we agree, we are all one, but how in actions are we actually living this?

If enough people truly took action...ie.. not taking sides because all have corruption leading them, not paying taxes, because why should government officials change what they are doing, when they are being paid monstrous amounts of money to do these things, or just living what one preaches, truly living it in every way, not just what is comfortable or feels righteous. These actions are what is going to change world consciousness in addition to meditations and the raising of energy.

We all have the potential to make real and beneficial changes. But if we just go along as everyone else, nothing will change. Is this easy? No, it is not. But it isn't the true path of spirituality that is difficult, it is the consciousness of the world as it stands now, that makes it so difficult. Therefore, unless someone has the courage, foresight and caring to take the steps for true beneficial change, these changes will not come about and countless lives, (human and other species), plus the earth will meet it's end. Now, the earth may somehow survive, if we don't nuke ourselves, but it is hurting more and more every day with our wasteful lifestyles, disrespect for nature and pollutants. These are facts, not my truth, and unless someone out there takes this all seriously enough to change it, then that critical mass that needs to be reached will NEVER be. That is all I will say, because I really haven't seen true caring, responsibility or seriousness. This is also not a criticism, but an observation. One that I didn't want to see, but it is more and more obvious everyday.

Thank you Vaxen for all the info (the comments/info you left on my other article). I do understand what you are trying to say, but until humans take responsibility, it really matters not what type of government it is. When there are lies, propaganda and corruption everywhere then any type of government will be corrupt and not working for the true benefit of the inhabitants of that country or the world.

As a final note:

I finally realize that discussion doesn’t progress to anything significant. I have tried over and over again to impart different ways of thinking and ways to actually do something about the human condition, but they are always fought with, instead of just discussed. I am going to leave ncn and society for a while and go to the woods to meditate, raise consciousness, learn to survive and do what we are ultimately here to do.

I do wish you all well, I wish you love, hope and clarity. But I’ll bet that in a few months time when I return, the news won’t have changed and neither will any of the issues that exist today. There will still be talk of wars, Iraq, Israel, Palestine, possibly Iran or Syria or even North Korea. There will be more and more of our freedoms taken away and elections rigged. People will still be going hungry, homeless, demented and crippled in old age, inoculated with poisons, to just name a few. I know that these problems won’t disappear over night, but I am sure I will see no change unless it is for the worse. I don’t say this to be negative or down, I say it because it is the only course that can be followed in the way things are going. The inertia is just too strong to stop, and unless someone, somewhere puts enough force behind this inertia, it will only get worse. This is a natural law, nothing esoteric or metaphysical about it.

Therefore, this is good-bye and good luck.

I leave you with these quotes:

“Warriors are in the world to train themselves to be unbiased witnesses, so as to understand the mystery of ourselves and relish the exultation of finding what we really are.” Carlos Castaneda

(By the way, I have only met one such warrior in the 52 years of my life……)
