23 Jan 2004 @ 10:06 by jazzolog : Will You Negotiate With Me? 23 Jan 2004 @ 10:25 by martha : Living the way Spells I don't agree with you on one aspect. There are many of us here on NCN living a new way of thinking. We have our own path and it is individual. While at times these paths will meet at a crossroad and even become crowded for a time, eventually we all go on our own way and many times these paths are parallel. We are all here to speak our voice. And I will grant you many times conversations are not followed up. Why not take a different view instead. I always appreciate comments made on my log because I know someone has at least taken the time to read what is written. For me that is a large step. and it is ironic that some of the stuff I have written with great passion and feeling get hardly a response and at other times when i write a casual quick idea there are lots of comments to follow. Spells there is a pattern in the exchange with others. Don't be discouraged. Instead maybe you might consider another approach. Mind you I'm not saying your appraoch is wrong. It just isn't resonating the way you feel you want it to. And gee besides if you leave then I'll have to get on vaxen's case once again to start a log. So please relax a bit. We are all in this together. We really are on the same page only using different fonts. 23 Jan 2004 @ 14:05 by vaxen : I am... saddened to see you go, too, spells. Just when I start to get into your logs wham! I wish you all the best and do hope that you will maybe reconsider? At least leave your log up, eh? There is hope in that you said you will return to see...same old same old. Maybe things will be different? Maybe they wo'nt...I do'nt know but without you they will be different. All the best to you, spells. 23 Jan 2004 @ 15:04 by inanna : Alone Smart Lady! Which is worth more, a crowd of thousands, Or your own genuine solitude? Freedom, or power over an entire nation? A little while alone in your own room will prove more valuable than anything else that could ever be given to you. ---Jelaluddin Rumi, 13th century Sufi 23 Jan 2004 @ 15:43 by scotty : I would just like to repeat what is said here in this [link] "Thank you for being a part of my life...Thank you, indeed - My most special friend." Just don't go away from here thinking that your presence was in vain - it wasn't / isn't ! I hope you'll be back again soon. Love Ya Sandi 23 Jan 2004 @ 16:23 by martha : Scotty thank you for that lovely link...how quickly we forget that connection with others no matter what the time frame is why we are here. 23 Jan 2004 @ 16:26 by vibrani : Well, Spells I hope you won't leave. I think Martha offered some wise words about this place and what goes on here. Conversations and interactions are why most of us come here. We come to connect, not just to post and run and have nothing else to say to one another. Conversations give us all the opportunity to observe and re-examine ourselves through others' eyes and become even clearer about ourselves, and sometimes to find new friends and create something new that blossoms out into the world. Even if those of us here may speak to one another on different levels, in different ways, we are still talking about what matters to us and that in itself is a gift to all. Whatever you do - good luck to you. 23 Jan 2004 @ 16:28 by scotty : Yes Martha and sometimes we don't know when a word can touch someones heart and change everything ! *smile* 23 Jan 2004 @ 16:52 by hgoodgame : I for one applaud you for you intention "to leave ncn and society for a while and go to the woods to meditate, raise consciousness, learn to survive and do what we are ultimately here to do". I wish you all the best and may you find there in the woods what you are seeking. 23 Jan 2004 @ 22:45 by fleer : feck just as I quit my 3 years of online gaming role to get more organised and you leave. (I just joined a local environmental group). Well, I hope that you´ll find time to check out ncn once in a while. Plus I think the reason for questions stopping a discussion is rather the extremely amount of information available here on ncn and on the internet. The attention span is limited by the amount. Namaste and c ya around 24 Jan 2004 @ 00:53 by vaxen : Remember Perelandra! "Another hideous mask was revealed during his May tour of Poland to further promote his war on terror. Former Justice Department prosecutor, John Loftus, has well documented the scandalous history of the Bush familys support for Adolph Hitler. In 1942 The New York Tribune described Bushs grandfather, Prescott Bush, as Hitlers Angel and, under the Trading with the Enemy Act, the US Congress seized the holdings of several companies directed by Prescott Bush that, as fronts for the Nazi party, had channelled hundreds of millions of dollars to the Third Reich and IG Farben. It was IG Farben that built the Nazi death camp at Auschwitz and forty other extermination camps. According to classified documents from Dutch intelligence and U.S. government archives, Prescott Bush also made considerable profit from Auschwitz slave labour. President G.W. Bush has inherited his grandfathers obscene Holocaust profits, which are held in a trust for his benefit, yet he still has the brazen audacity to shed a tear for the cameras while visiting the remains of the Nazi death camps at Auschwitz and Birkenau." 24 Jan 2004 @ 19:03 by magical_melody : Sandy, I must say I have appreciated your articles and the dialogues between you and others here. You're sharp! and you hold your own very well in a debate. I appreciate your presence here. Max and I have been reading your comments and I must say we have respect for your ability to intelligently address lines of thought with a certain detachment, and to speak candidly in a manner that we both have seen as truly sincere. I do see you approaching thinking from various angles to get at the truth. I hear ya, and understand your sentiment above. Getting to the truth is critical during these times, and often painful. People can only be as honest as they can be with themselves and their world. It takes commitment and courage, and being willing to own, and honestly deal with, the goofy stuff in between. I encourage you to honour your self and your heart desires. I was just starting to feel to connect and comment, and now you are off to the woods. Sounds like maybe life is pushing lots of buttons, boy don't I know how that is! Challenging at times to keep one's balance and especially during a time when so many control patterns and polarities are dancing on the planet, from the personal to the collective. I think it important to periodically re-assess what keeps one active here in NCN. I understand and empathize with your frustrations about the need for more action regarding the issues we are globally facing, and IMHO, before more numbers can get involved, there has to be a breakthrough in the survival/coping mindsets that are so prevalent. There is lots of ignorance (ignoring) going on right now in regards to some really stinky shit! The saying once went, choose your battles, I feel its now more like, clean up your own backyard, find others who want to come clean, and join those who are prepared and committed to work together in cleaning up our communities. Sometimes we've just got to keep on walking by some of the poop on the street. We are not the janitors for everyone else, but we are stewards of the earth whether we step into that role or not. However if everyone keeps side-stepping the shit too much longer? It's getting pretty damn stinky out there!!! Especially in America! Holy Shit! I agree with you that it is a time of taking more conscious and empowered action to address the oppressive influences around us, and I see this as living and moving as inspired by Source. How long have you been here in NCN? I invite you to email me if you would like to correspond. Blessings to you! 24 Jan 2004 @ 21:14 by maxtobin : Blessings From the Pacific Sandi, I have enjoyed your presence here in this virtual community, I have often read your log. I like the way you share your essence here. Go with Great Spirits protection and blessing on your path and may we be honoured to be part of your sharing again when you are ready. I have chosen to be mere witness to much of the interaction in these spaces (NCN news logs) and value greatly the comfort of distance that the relative physical isolation New Zealand provides. 25 Jan 2004 @ 17:37 by nemue : Thank You I do hope we can stay in touch. You have awakened a spirit in me. I feel blessed for having 'meet' in this virtual world. Peace and happiness always. Nemue 29 Jan 2004 @ 16:45 by spells : Thank you....... I want to thank everyone for their kind comments and good wishes. I only ask that you do not ignore the important message in my post referring to.. coming to resolutions, backing up statements with facts and answering pertinent questions. As of tomorrow, Friday, I won't have computer access anymore, but when I am back from the woods I will check email, therefore if you truly want to keep in touch and have relevant discussion I will be very appreciative, happy to hear from you and I will answer. I wish you all the best....Spells 9 Mar 2004 @ 00:52 by magical_melody : Spells/Sandi, Good on Ya! Regards your comment above ***coming to resolutions, backing up statements with facts and answering pertinent questions, hehehe, Sandi, looks to be the same exact wording and patterns that you met, I confronted and spoke to as they came to visit me in my log: See my Log for the same request in our identical words (reading from the last few comments: "No substance, no accountablity, onwards)...which can be seen in both of our comments, hehehe!} Patterns carry over arising again and again like waves We have a shared reality here. I found this link interesting:Stages of development I welcome your truth and your voice here!!!! Blessings, Alana Other entries in Thoughts 28 May 2004 @ 20:01: Double Messages and/or Liars
