I agree Sharie, but let me tell you about a conversation I had not too long ago. I was commenting that the spirit of protest that was prevalent during the Viet Nam war is not here today. Yes there are protests, but they don't feel the same. The answer I got was that ...when more of "our" (USA) soldiers are killed, people will protest more, take notice and care more....well that says it all, doesn't it? ...as it turned my stomach.....if your not american, it really doesn't matter as much. It is just what I have seen over and over again...the arrogance and ignorance. We are so arrogant, we believe we can do whatever we want to with the world and nature...well talk to me about that one in a few years, if you're still around.
