FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION
This is a subject that most of us in the western world don’t want to talk about. Ritualistic sexual mutilation of females dates back to the fifth century B.C. This traditional practice is a social as well as a health issue that affects the physical and mental well being of the women who undergo it. Although practiced mostly in African countries north of the equator and the Middle-East, concern has recently been expressed that female genital mutilation is also being practiced in the U.S., Europe, and other western countries by immigrants from these countries.
It never ceases to disappoint me that whilst our leaders are only too happy to speak out about so many injustices in the world, on the subject of Female Genital Mutilation they are Silent.
Please help us bring this to the world’s attention. The women and children who are subjected to these barbaric practices deserve better and they need our help. Every signature helps.

Japan will go to a meeting of the International Whaling Commission (IWC) in June asking to extend its quota of about 440 minke whales a year to humpback whales - an endangered species. There are only around 4000 humpback whales and this number has only been reached after years of banning the slaughter of these majestic and magical creatures.
Japan should be condemned at the highest levels if they proceed with this application. This has nothing to do with research (which is their excuse for slaughtering minke whales). This is all about consumers and the restaurant trade in Japan.
The Australian Government should also be condemned for the soft stance they are taking. Although in their defence the Japanese do not recognise Australia’s sovereignty over the waters of the Antarctic.

A special study commissioned by the US Air force on the viability of teleportation was recently released for public dissemination. The "Teleportation Physics Study" was the result of a subcontracted study performed by a Nevada based company, Warp Drive Metrics, for the United States Air Force Research Laboratory based at Edward Air Force Base. The Study focused on different modes of teleportation and analyzed their viability for widespread military and civilian applications in communications and transportation. The Study distinguished between different forms of teleportation. These modes included the classic Star Trek version, called sci-fi teleportation ('sf-Teleportation' ); teleportation of an objects 'quantum state' or 'unique identity', called 'quantum -' or 'q-Teleportation'; and a psychic form of teleportation called 'p-Teleportation'.

The global warming danger threshold for the world is clearly marked for the first time in an international report to be published tomorrow - and the bad news is, the world has nearly reached it already.
The countdown to climate-change catastrophe is spelt out by a task force of senior politicians, business leaders and academics from around the world - and it is remarkably brief. In as little as 10 years, or even less, their report indicates, the point of no return with global warming may have been reached.
The report, Meeting The Climate Challenge, is aimed at policymakers in every country, from national leaders down. It has been timed to coincide with Tony Blair's promised efforts to advance climate change policy in 2005 as chairman of both the G8 group of rich countries and the European Union. More >

This problem isn’t new to Asia (and many other countries and regions as well to be fair to Asian countries) but one of my fears was that this ugliness would raise its head and it appears it has if the following report is anything to go by. Unfortunately now the children have even less protection.

Millions of dollars have been pledged to the bigger charities but YOTS doesn’t have the clout of some and their focus is on children only. This will not be a short-term initiative by Father Chris. For many months now the message has been clear.. More and more talk of peace and harmony. Back to natural laws and earth connection.
