I haven't posted for some time although I pop in every now and then to see what is going on.
Life for me has been very busy over the past 12-months. My husband has been very ill (but thankfully recovering now) and that has taken up a lot of time in caring for him. My business has been extremely busy - there are never enough hours in the day. I hear so many saying this of late...
That said, I just couldn't let this opportunity pass by to promote the Go Orange for Animals Day on April 10.

Scotty posted a previous article from Robert Fisk, which has caused a lot of debate, as it should.
Sunday 86 innocent women and children were buried in Lebanon as a result of this senseless action. This morning one of our local radio stations in Sydney interviewed the Lebanese son (a very well known and respected previous international sportsman) on the fate of his mother who had been visiting family in Lebanon. Thankfully the women in question are being evacuated today and with luck she will be a home within the next few days. Why am I telling you this? The mother in question was visiting relatives in the mountains about 2 - 2.30 hours out of Beirut. This isn't a Hezbollah strong hold but the Israelis still feel that blowing up the communications centre in this village in question was justifiable. People died in this assault – yet again the innocent suffer.
This madness has to stop.

Nobel Peace Laureate, Muslim and human rights activist Dr Shirin Ebadi has spoken out against undemocratic Islamic countries justifying "oppressive acts" in the name of Islam.
Dr Ebadi said some Islamic countries were turning their backs on modernisation and the need for democracy and as a result were creating tensions internally.
Speaking at the Earth Dialogues 2006 conference in Brisbane, Dr Ebadi said her native Iran as well as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Yemen "among others" were guilty of human rights violations. "In these countries, Islamic rulers want to solve 21st century issues with laws belonging to 14 centuries ago," she said.
"Their views of human rights are exactly the same as it was 1400 years ago.
"Undemocratic Islamic governments justify their oppressive acts by taking advantage of the name of Islam, in exactly the same way as the United States justifies its war mongering by abusing the name of democracy."
In 2003, Dr Ebadi was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts in promoting democracy and human rights in her country, particularly the rights of women and children.
Today, she works as a lawyer and teaches at the University of Tehran.
She was one of the first female judges in Iran from 1975 to 1979, but was forced to resign after the 1979 revolution because the ayatollahs decided women were too emotional and irrational to hold such positions.
Dr Ebadi, who received a standing ovation for her call for world peace, said in her mind, one could be a Muslim and also respect human rights.
"Problems arise when a group of fundamentalists close their eyes to the evolution of the world and are unwilling to reassess their value standards. They consider outside changes to be nothing but an illusion," she said. "They have stuck with persistence to their aged traditions and look on the world through the eyes of their ancestors and wish to solve today's problems with an outdated knowledge of yesterday.
Dr Ebadi lamented "horrific events" in the Middle East, particularly in Lebanon. "Peace between Palestine and Israel can only be enduring if both countries accept and recognise that two separate and autonomous states of Palestine and Israel can co-exist," she said.

The question of vaccination, the worth of and the impact of has been a question that has concerned me for sometime. Of late I have ‘parked’ this vexing question because I have been too busy. That said, I have read and researched a lot of material in the past. As a result I am firmly of the view that rather than aid mankind that ‘forced’ vaccination programs serve a different purpose. That ‘forced’ vaccination programs and many vaccinations in general rather than assisting and helping mankind have the opposite effect and I am firmly of the belief that most of us are ignorant to the fact.
This is not to say that many of do not hear of or read stories about the impact of ‘forced’ vaccination. There has been any amount of material published with respect to the outbreak and spread of HIV/Aids within the gay community in NY and the massive outbreak in Africa. The link to vaccination is frightening to anyone with a logical and questioning mind. Generally however the impact is within a select community or in a third world country. The impact on our families and us generally too far removed. We perhaps care initially, take interest for a flickering moment and then get on with our lives.
Now I don’t live in America as many of you know, but if I did and if I had children, I would be taking a very active interest in the following story that surfaced on the Care2 site. It is about_

In Australia we haven’t as yet moved to mandatory pneumococcal vaccination for children before they are permitted to start school. That said a free program was announced 1 January of this year. The information available to parents in Australia is both scarce and misleading.
Please read carefully the vaccine ingredients. This is what is being pumped into the bodies of our children. This is absolutely terrifying.

I haven’t copied the full story, just the relevant parts.
In closing I will say this. The human body is very tough however we are weakening the ability of our body to work effectively because over many years our bodies have been pumped with rubbish such as that listed above. It is bad enough that our food supplies are full of ‘foreign’ chemicals but at least with our food we do have some choice and we still have some control over what we eat. This is getting harder of course. Now children face the possibility of having no choice, if they want to go to school they have to be vaccinated as part of the Pneumococcal Vaccination. I intend promoting this story to the best of my ability. We need to have this out in the open, to have this issue debated and for people to hear the truth. It is up to us; if we care then speak out. It is no longer acceptable for either animals or people to be used in such a shameful and destructive manner
This isn’t Africa (not that this should matter if it were, in fact Africa requires even more help as for many there can not stand-up for defend themselves) this is happening in America and as is the want you can bet your life at some point vaccination will become mandatory in my own country. This has got to be stopped.

I am sure you will be as horrified as I was to learn of this practice. Evidence indicates that live dog burning testing continues today in China. This is just one of thousands of animal and human rights abuses that continues in China today. At least in this case we can make our voices heard. Please also share this with as many of your friends and relatives as you can.
The horrific series of experiments in which dogs are being burned alive took place at the Third Military Medical University at Chongqing, China. The experiments appeared in the Chinese scientific journal: ŒZhonghua Shao Shang Za Zhi. NAVS and ADI have uncovered three experiments published since 1999 and believe the programme of research continues. The 3 experiments involved:-
1. 37 dogs burned with napalm - The pain of napalm is so excruciating that people have died from the pain alone. The pain felt by the dogs would have been unbearable. The dogs were then kept alive with their agonizing burns for three days. 72hours of hell.
2. 26 dogs were burned so severely that their brains swelled - In order to determine the value of scanning equipment in diagnosing brain swelling due to excess water (oedema) following burns, dogs were inflicted with third degree skin burns, over half of their bodies. Yet, scanning techniques such as MRI cause little or no suffering to people so it is difficult to understand why the information could not have been derived from studies of burns patients.
3. 24 dogs were deliberately scalded and suffered steam inhalation injuries – 24 mongrel dogs were used in an experiment in which 40% of their total body surface area was deliberately scalded, giving them third degree burns, and they were left alive for up to two days. Some of the dogs died from shock within 36 hours

This is indeed interesting. We hear a lot about 2012 and the change that will be rendered on the earth. We know that we can not continue down our current path - perhaps it is time to start taking notice of the signs and to start preparing ourselves for what is to come.

Over 700,000 people homeless with no means of support due to the action of their government!!!! And still the world stands by and does nothing. Commonwealth countries still trade with this despotic government, as do many other developed countries.
The UN offered temporary tents for the homeless but the government rejected them.
In case you are not aware why these people are homeless it is because the government bulldozed their shanty houses. They bulldozed them but didn’t bother to provide the displaced with any means to survive. And still the voice of the world is silent. How long can we continue to turn a blind eye?
