It will develop. :-) 15 Mar 2003 @ 22:09 by vibrani : so much There is SO much in the world, and a person can realistically only do so much, no matter how much compassion we have. But do whatever you can. In America babies are also dumped and left to die. In order to prevent unnecessary deaths, hospitals have advertised to new mothers to leave their babies at the hospital, anonymously, and the babies will be adopted and no charges will be brought against the mothers. There are children in India who are used by adults to beg in the streets. In order to make these children look more pathetic to tourists, the adult will cut off the child's hand or foot or arm or whatever. It's outrageous! What can I, in America, do about that but let everyone know, maybe set up funds, a program, to help street children and help them get proper supervision, and hope someone closer to these things can do more? There are many ways to help. There are people protesting all of these things, but again, there are only so many hours in a day, and so much a person can do. We must choose how we can best use our resources for causes that mean the most to us. 16 Mar 2003 @ 01:38 by vaxen : yes... the incredible destruction of the african peoples goes somehow unnoticed. here is an interview with the african 'zulu' shaman 'credo mutwa' which may shed some light upon this mystery and help to wake some people up to what is really going on behind the charades being enacted on all fronts: [link] Other entries in Thoughts 15 Jun 2008 @ 05:40: Lessons - Taking Time for Me 8 Oct 2006 @ 07:11: Truth - Yes or No? 10 Sep 2006 @ 00:39: Steve Irwin & Peter Brock Farewell 11 Jun 2006 @ 08:05: Fairness and Justice 19 Mar 2006 @ 02:42: What role will you play??? 27 Dec 2005 @ 06:18: A New Year's Wish 28 Nov 2004 @ 01:56: Devaluing of our Culture 12 Oct 2004 @ 00:41: Progress is VERY Slow 9 Aug 2004 @ 19:48: The Impact of Globalization 22 Apr 2004 @ 21:50: A Time To Reflect
