What a world we have created!!!!

A world where exposing a boob at the super bowl invokes such outrage - threats of legal actions, cancellation of Janet Jackson’s bookings etc as a result of what was really a very silly stunt. .

Yet, daily we are bombarded with murder, violence, and senseless killings but do we clamber to fine our news services, moviemakers who pollute our environment with this rubbish – who contribute to the de-sensitization of the young and old alike? No!!

What warped morality have we created. Is this the type of world we want? I certainly don’t

Before we can move in another direction we need to understand what we have so that we can change it. Acknowledge the present move to the future create the mind shift. I agree. Just needed to say what I felt..

one of the problems is - tv films video games etc causes the violence to become banalised - the outcry about the exposed booby is just puritanical hypocrisy !
I might sound a wee bit old fashioned but some hightening of our feelings of self worth might help us to value others more - to think less about cramming our wakened moments with sensations of pleasure in an effort to smother the screaming inside .. so accept that life is full of ups and downs and that our problems can be used to make us strong and more aware of other peoples suffering - to see that we all share the same pain joy etc - just being HUMAN - together ! Learning to love - ourselves and then each other !
hmmm - sorry if it came out like a wee rant !
