16 Apr 2007 @ 00:03 by jerryvest : How to look busy and important 16 Apr 2007 @ 02:20 by a-d : see that's the Question!...hehehe Having worked maself both inside the Bureaucratic Institutions and in the Private Sector, I have to say that it is almost impossible to be CREATIVE inside an institution... the whole idea with & behind Institution is to be COUNTER all true creativity!... and only protect the CONTROLLERS' Self/ish Interests!... This is why Hospitals can be soooo hard to really do the Good we went in there to do -bureaucratic Institutions as they are!... just ask me!... ; ) When I worked in the Medical Field in the Private sector, I couldn't wait for Monday to arrive! ( I quit only because we moved to Tanzania -which I just couldn't say No to! ) When people work for themselves -as their own "Boss" work is not really WORK to them -so they all claim! They do something they LOVE doing! Most of the time they each start making more money they ever could have gotten as wages in their former, bureaucratically run job - be it a Corp run as an Institution is run, or a slightly smaller run after Institution Model. Opposite is true as well: Family owned small Businesses with employees the employees tend to love to work and stay forever if given the opportunity. Indeed the employees tend to start seeing the Business as "theirs" and some cases they really are offered (partial) partnership; that already feels good and right for many people. and I think, rightfully so! I personally today see it that we don't need to work for money at all ( we might keep a better more fair monetary system until enough many realize that money is NOT the Issue at all, but to do things that NEED to be done for our sustenance and well being, with some parts of the Things being less "Inspiring", but still needs to be done!.... Other perks than Money could be given for the people who volunteer to take on such chores. : ) Humankind today is whipped by money-greedy share holders and the CEOs of the Corps to work idiotic hours and produce produce produce things, things that can not even be sold!.... The OVER production of Needless, MEANINGLESS "products" is astounding -and will take us down. This Production Hysteria is a perversion of our Natural Creativity -if you ask me. Yeaah... Jerry, this whole Western Culture is a very sick one!... and needs some serious overhaul... once again if you ask me! : ) Thanks Jerry. People demand pointless meaningless products because the lives are pointless and meaningless. If people had something to live for other than to decorate another pointless humans house with money, they might think twice about getting up to the sound of that alarm in the morning and joining the rest of the slaves.
