Intuition and Synchronicity on a Friday Evening1 comment

A week of work is done. The job stress that I was grousing about in the PSI room has passed, at least for a few days. And the next day or two will be for just spending time with family, doing healing work, and exploring the unknown.

In my posting in the PSI room, I noted that psychic and intuitive abilities seem to be supressed under stress - which was abundant at work this week. Now the pressure is off for a few days. It is as if a pressure cooker lid was released - and as if on cue, the synchronicities started happening once again. They are minor, and barely noticabile, but definitely there - a reminder that the God consciousness is always there for us even when we are blind to it for a while.

The Universe is a wonderful and mysterious place indeed...

The Elections: Be Careful What You Wish For17 comments

I was rather dismayed, to say the least, with the election returns last night and today. In front of my eyes (at least when I could bear to look) I saw the vote count piling up in support of the Bush Brothers, etc. I saw the senatorial candidate (Norm Coleman) who opposed the late Sen. Wellstone win - apparently with the support of the same energy companies that have gotten us into this mess.

But in a democracy, the peoples' voice is final. Having heard nothing yet to the contrary, I assume (perhaps nievely) that the election was clean. So I must conclude that the results do portray the will of the people - at least to some extent. Yet, the direction this decision takes the western world - and perhaps humanity - seems to be directly into the abyss. So what gives?

My only conclusion can be that a whole lot of people don't get it. The aggregate field consciousness of the US public seems to still be wishing for a convenient, materialistic, comfortable, don't-rock-the-boat world view. There seems to be an aggregate willingness to overlook the impending war. And it is more comfortable to ignore the coming environmental collapse. The blindfold fits well, and is very comfy to wear.

It is indeed difficult to change course. A western democracy has a very wide turning radius. And if our course is heading for oblivion, then to some it seems easier to cover one's eyes than to struggle to turn the steering wheel and avoid the collapse.

So, the (apparent) wishes of the people have been expressed. As the saying goes "be careful what you wish for, you might recieve it". And I suspect that recieve it we shall...

Laughter of Kids and a Tapestry of Hope1 comment

Yesterday, as I was working outside my house, I got to meet and chat with our new neighbors. This family, who moved into our neighborhood only a few months ago, are immigrants from Southeast Asia. These folks are some of the nicest people you will ever meet - a delight to know.

Since I have not yet learned much of their language, my communication with the older family members has been somewhat sparse. But yesterday as I was working, the kids came over to talk with me and play in our yard. They are a delightful lot - aged 2 to 10 - and talkative as the dickens. They alternated between english with me, and their family's language to eachother. But their laughs and smiles were universal.

I thought to myself how adaptable these folks must be. I can only guess what their life experiences must have been, a collective life path which eventually brought them to the house next door.

The family living on the other side of us has several kids of their own. Since our driveway and sidewalk have quite a bit of space, we often let the kids from both families rollerblade and play games there. The kids from these two families - from such different backgrounds - get along as if their families had been together for generations. Their world cares little for the differences that adults notice. All they cared about was laughing and playing.

I realized that the biggest light of all, and the greatest hope for the future, are children like these. As kids from such diverse backgrounds grow up, they bring the threads of human history together. As they play together they are unknowingly weaving a tapestry of understanding and peace.

I believe that this is how humanity will heal the wounds of war. With their big eyes, big smiles and wonderful imaginations, to me these kids represent the future of Earth. They are the hope of humanity.  Read More

 A Beautiful November Day1 comment

For those of us in the northern climes, November brings the cool crisp air of late fall. And with it comes the anticipation of on-coming winter, with its short days and long nights. The late fall skies are cloudier and the days grow short. Leaves turn color and fall. This is a month of changes, as we prepare for both the challenges and the beauty of winter.

This thought kept running through my mind this afternoon as I was raking leaves, enjoying one of those clear crisp sunny days of late fall. It was a joy to be outside.

I've noted that most of the big transitions in my life have happened in November. My last big job change was in November. My father in law passed away four years ago this month. My first marriage fell apart in November as well. In the lives of so very many around me, transitions have seemed to occurr in November - disproportionately often.

Yet today was a beautiful day. A clear blue sky, with a gentle wind from the south. While chilly, it was a joy to behold. It felt good to just do some work on a pretty Saturday afternoon.

Yes, November is upon us - bringing change, chill, and transition. And on this clear, crisp day - nearing the end of the year, there is hope that the coming winter will bring us a new year of healing and awakening. There is hope that the danger of war can become the promise of peace. There is hope that the world-imperiling oil-driven energy economy can gradually begin to be replaced by a solar, wind and fuel-cell driven world - a sustainable one which can allow our world to breathe freely. There is hope that the conscious evolution described by Barbara Marx Hubbard is beginning to reach critical mass - and that an overall awakening is coming upon us. There is hope that changes for the better are beginning in ernest now - taking hold as the old year begins the steady transition toward the new year.

And for me, that hope for the future is symbolized by the crystal blue skies and bright sunshine of a beautiful fall day.

Namaste,

 Some Interesting Visitors4 comments

In the last couple of weeks, I have had some rather interesting visitors to my website (www.craigrlang.com) . Recently, there have been a fair number of visitors from the .mil (U.S. Military) domain - many more than in the past.

I am informed by several folks who are professional webmasters that at least some of them are probably from an automated "sniffer" (pent.nipr.mil). It seems to be looking for - well, for something... I doubt that I have much there for them to worry about... 8^)

Still, it would appear that the articles on "9/11 as a Call for Peace", "UFOs and Close Encounters", etc. on my site must have caught the attention of someone. I hope they find the site of interest. I invite them to read the sections on peace, forgiveness and healing. For it is these which will do the most to increase the security of the U.S. and of the world.

Namaste,

In Memory of Lady Molly Brown6 comments

This is a short piece to remember a dear companion, my shetland sheepdog and faithful friend of nearly thirteen years. She passed away quietly at 5:15 AM (CDT) yesterday morning, while Gwyn held her in her arms. She is survived by her daughter Miss Lady Lass (Missy), and her two humans - Gwyn and I.

In her life, and now beyond it, Molly will always remind me of just how brief and precious this lifetime is, and how much we need to share our love with those around us, while they are around us. Please add to your prayers the soul of Lady Molly Brown.

Thanks,
