Hi all...
Well it seems the web and globalization has given rise to a problem of sorts in that many people on many sites seem
impelled to come up with a one size or model or plan fits
all in terms of an understanding of globalization.
Well I think that is about to change as globalization is not
about homogenization or it shouldn't really be but it also
isn't about rival factions either.
At best it is about global diversification.
Why global diversification. A diversified entity has a better survivability and sustainability than a homogenized one.
so walla its already happening

Mission
The Global Diversity Foundation (GDF)
aims to promote biocultural diversity around the world
through research, training and social action.
GDF currently pursues its mission by supporting efforts to document and monitor:
*
Agricultural diversity, with a focus on the in situ conservation of crop varieties and traditional agroecosystems;
*
Biological diversity, emphasizing the animal and plant resources that are used by local people
*
Cultural and linguistic diversity, especially the rich environmental knowledge that is encoded in local languages around the world
Areas of specific focus include the continuity of ethnobiological knowledge, community access to biological resources and the conservation of biodiversity.
