re: An Autumn Song 2012
Verse 1
The Seasons they go round, Its Autumn once again,
It's time to pull the sweaters off the shelf.
It's time for us to store, to pickle and to cure,
As the Church begins to tune the Christmas bells.
Verse 2
The lane is full of leaves, the air frosty and chill,
As the fires begin to burn upon the hearths.
To the South the geese do wing, and to warmer climes to go,
As we bundle up the mittens and the scarves.
Chorus
Hey Ho, Hey Ho, its Autumn once again, Hey Ho, Hey Ho, Oh won't you come on in,
Hey Ho, Hey Ho, Come have a spot of tea, and lets enjoy each others hospitality.
Verse 3
Oh now soon the snow will fall, and cover up the land,
In a blanket that's so thick and cold and white.
Then the wind will start to blow, as the Spirits start to flow,
As we try our best to keep warm thru the night.
Chorus
