It would seem in regards to the climate & environmental issues we now face, we are too dependent upon an unsustainable, wasteful & over-consumptive global model of existence.
We thus, in order to continue, have to redefine and or reinvent ourselves towards a leaner, more natural and organic mode of living and being.
To reduce our carbon footprint thus, is only a start in the process, and we have to at some point as well, reduce our consumptive footprint etc if we are to live in harmony with the Earth.
The greatest effect the average person can have on the issue is really evaluating the methods and ways of their major purchases of say a business, house and car. To ensure that there thus is a certified green component and value in such and such then goes a long way towards the Green Vision as well as doing the little things in their homes such as conserving energy and water and making green purchases and teaching their children the same. Something that might be referred to as Green Economics.
A Global vision of a new Earth paradigm is thus in order to help guide our efforts. A vision which we seem only beginning to craft and see.
