In the world of Mesopotamian archaeology, no other museum could rival the collections from the Iraq Museum. Spanning a time from before 9,000 B.C. well into to the Islamic period they included some of the earliest tools man ever made, painted polychrome ceramics from the 6th millennium B.C., a relief-decorated cult vase from Uruk, famous gold treasures from the Royal Cemetery at Ur, Sumerian votive statues from Tell Asmar, Assyrian reliefs and bull figures from Assyrian capitals of Nimrud, Nineveh, and Khorsabad, to Islamic pottery and coins--an unrivaled treasure not only for Iraq, but for all of mankind.
In the days following the conquest of Baghdad the Iraq Museum was looted. Reports on the damage vary--the number of lost or stolen objects varies between 50,000 to 200,000. Irrespective of numbers, the losses not only to the world of a archaeology but to mankind in general are tremendous .
This site contains Oriental Institute images of objects from the Iraq Museum, sorted by categories. Other images were scanned from books and are posted here with permission of the publishers:

In addition, several institutions and individuals generously contributed pictures from their own holdings--their help is gratefully acknowledged here. It is hoped that it will be of use as a reference tool in the recovery of artifacts should they appear on the antiquities market.

Greetings everyone.
Who are or what is truth justice and wisdom.... well long ago they were three goddess, or the three fates..but today however, they have been forgotten in favour of greed, aragence and war. However the return of the feminine essence in the form of these three most overlooked goddess is returning...not just in women, but in men..in humainity as a whole....
She the symbol of JUSTICE is returning, with her she will bring TRUTH and together they will inspire WISDOM to stand with them.
Today in our world, every ordinary individual is forced to be accountable for their actions, no matter how small, whether it be avoiding paying your taxes, or runing a red light or driving without a current license...what ever it is there is someone to enforce some law whereby you will be forced to be accountable AND responsible for your actions.
However this is not so the further up the chain you go. Those in power who hold positions of influence have committed crimes against humainty in our name.
Under the guise of whatever office they hold they have got away with crimes that you and I as ordinary citizens would not. We need to understand the unlevel gobal playing field we are living in. We need to understand more about the people we are calling president..indeed the people behind the president need to be revealed for all to see and made accountable for their actions to their peers, (us) in a court of law, just as you or I would be.
Corporations and Industry who continue to use the rest of our world to their own advantages, will also stand accountable.
I will attempt to bring to you various articles over the course of the coming weeks in which you can see for yourself the extent of the actions of these so called leaders.
To do so is the ultimate form of love for humainty, for make no mistake it is a deep seated love for all life that these people need to be exposed and made accountable..and it is up to each and every one of us to expose the deciet and usher in the goddess of TRUTH JUSTIC AND WISDOM
Thus if we raise our voices from a point of knowledge and stand united, we may just be able to usher in a world where we can all live in harmony without fear of exploitation by our own governments.....
As an aside, for those of you who do not beleive in conspiracy theories...realise that for the past 20 or 30 years many if not all the conspircay theory's have become FACT...ONE the definitons of fact is...undeinable, often unpleasant TRUTH...with this in mind read Part 1 in this on going action. According to this story, Cuban scientists are indicating that the many structures found at a depth of 2000 feet in a certain area are unlikely to be natural, and they're planning submarine explorations. If it is is a sunken city, it would be at least 6000 years old. More >

The theory goes that all ‘modern’ human ancestors migrated out of Africa at about 50,000 years ago. That they, being the fittest for survival, over ran and exterminated other homo-sapient species. Is this the case? Are we all from the same genetic pool, the same ancestors, and the same region?
There is compelling evidence showing Africa as a major starting point for modern behavior. This can not be disputed. The climate in the deserts of Africa have been very kind to those who once lived grew and then were buried there. The amount of evidence from is the region is astounding, all persevered by the dry climate. It is a giant playground for paleontologists and archeologists alike.
The problem is that it is the amount of evidence that has been found that lead these same people to the conclusion that we all started there. The general consensus is that we have found so many artifacts there in relationship to the rest of the world, this must have been the first and most populated place. Starting with they frame of mind, scientist then set out to prove their theory was fact. Without abundance of evidence showing from another individual location, there is no real augment against it. “The Crusades as a whole refer to the liberation of Jerusalem from the ‘infidel’, Muslims. Not being of the true (Christian) faith, they were without souls so killing them was sanctified, indeed, called for by the Church. However from the Moslem point of view the same applied to the Christians. They saw the Crusades as an invasion of unbelievers.”

Marine scientists in India say an archaeological site off India's western coast may be up to 9,000 years old. The revelation comes about 8 months after acoustic images from the sea-bed suggested the presence of built-up structures resembling the ancient Harappan civilisation, which dates back around 4,000 years. about this lost tribe, and the temple of Solomon. What did the temple of Soloman represent? It ment to me a house of wisdom. Then it struck me, what if the internet was the temple of Solomon? What if people in chat rooms buliten boards, ICQ, etc... were somehow part of this lost tribe, even the native Americans came to mind. I thought about what Asher was but, ill need to read up on that, lol, but how can you tell if someone is from the Asher tribe? I mean do they have some obviouse trait? Does it mater if this tribe does or dosen't litraly go to Isriel, if they are connected on the net?

Explorers using a miniature submarine to probe the sea floor off the coast of Cuba said on Thursday they had confirmed the discovery of stone structures deep below the ocean surface that may have been built by an unknown human civilization thousands of years ago. The explorers said they believed the mysterious structures, discovered at the astounding depth of around 2,100 feet and laid out like an urban area, could have been built at least 6,000 years ago.
