I know, for myself, there was a previous pattern of being awakened between 3:15 and 3:30 a.m. for months at
a time, back around 1993-94 and also 1995-96. I know now that these were actication periods and that ET
energies were involved. It appears that these disrrupted sleep cycles are returning.  More >

Nicolas' recent article inspired me to forage some of my ancient roots and reacquaint myself with elden loves.

Here then is a hodge podge of e-redacted lore, a simple bit, that I may, or may not, edit - later on - for clarity...

We'll see.

In any case there is a lot here, links as well, that may inspire someone to go beyond the present cacaphony of the world and rediscover things worth while...deep within themselves.

When you look around you at all the wars being perpetrated by the perps of the monied set, thieves and bandits all, and the horrors they generate, it begins to look a lot like the ancient Maha Bharata...

Hope you, whoever you are, who actually reads any of this, find your own, true, way amidst the discord of this worlds' illusions, and thus end delusion for your self and, perhaps, future beings...who've grown tired of the lies of the well schooled charlatans of political and educational dog-ma.

Wisdom Goddesses : Mahavidyas and the Assertion of Femininity in Indian Thought

There exists in India a group of strange Goddesses, ten in number. One of them is shown holding her own freshly severed head, which feeds on the blood flowing from her headless torso; another holds a pair of scissors while sitting triumphant atop a corpse;

Shodashi the Goddess who is Sixteen Years Old

Shodashi or Tripura-Sundari is believed to have taken birth to save the gods from the ravages of a mighty and wrathful demon. The tale begins when Shiva burnt down Kama, the god of love, who tried to distract Shiva from his meditation. One of Shiva's followers then scooped off Kama's ashes and formed the image of a man out of them. This man then persuades Shiva to teach him a powerful mantra. By the power of this mantra, one could gain half the might of one's adversary. But because he was generated from the ashes of Shiva's wrath he is transformed into a fierce demon. Intoxicated with his new found power he proceeded to rampage the kingdom of the gods. Apprehending defeat and humiliation, the gods all propitiate Goddess Tripura-Sundari to seek her help. The goddess appears and agrees to help them. Taking the battlefield she heaps a crushing blow on the mighty demon, thus saving the gods.

Iconographically this Goddess is shown seated on a lotus that rests on the supine body of Lord Shiva, who in turn lies on a throne whose legs are the gods Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, and Rudra.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and beings called Humours. God blessed Humours and gave them power to create joy and humour. God also warned Humours to avoid the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil or they will die.

Humours had a whale of a time being happy and jolly and having a ball. Life was always fun.  More >

THE FIRST STATE OF MAMMALITY ADDRESS

Greetings and salutations to you, all mammality!

We come now and give to us all, this First State of Mammality Address, on this 6th day of May, in the year of our Lord 2007 AD, here from the Province of Alberta, in the Nation of Canada, to all of the planet Earth, here in the Sol Star System, of the Milky Way Galaxy.

After some 220 million years since the first inception of the Mammal Class or roughly one Galactic Year ago, we find the current state of Mammality now, to be,
though somewhat weathered, still in a fair and well established position here on this planet. Derived as we are, from the Phylum Chordata, the parent Mammal Class, Mammality has yielded to date approximately, some 4,800 Orders of species from it, one of which, Primates, we, our human species are descendant and derived of and from some 60 million years ago. Well done Mammality.

To note now, then, some of the achievements of the Mammal Class in this time, we see now that there are flying mammals, civilized and space going mammals, burrowing mammals, building mammals and aquatic mammals. As well mammals can range from quite small in size, to the very largest of creatures of life upon this Earth.

While the state of mammality thus, is practically and statistically in fair to good condition, we have had to, over these millions of years, face numerous hardships and challenges, and some of the species of our Class, are sadly not represented alive any more here today, and to them we pay our respects and thank them for the contributions made towards our current fair fortunes. May you rest in peace.

Looking forward though, to the next galactic year, the future looks promising thought daunting as well. Have you all heard? We have discovered a sister Planet, in the constellation Libra, around the Star Gliese 581, a planet called Gliese 581c or Aprilla as I like to call her. This should proof an interesting find to study and investigate and perhaps, God and time willing, one day for the mammals of the future to visit perhaps. Perhaps, in the fullness of time. Still though, we will sadly, face many of the same challenges we have faced before over these millions of years, like want for good food, clean air and water and healthy habitat and environment, and problems such as weather, earth quakes, fires, floods, tsunamis, climate change, war, disease, asteroids and other such. We pray and ask that good fortunes guide us and help us through once again.

But let us remember though that together as we celebrate this first galactic year of our existence, together let us and we will strive to show the same spirit, will and strength as those mammals that have gone before us, giving thanks and praise to the our Good Host the Earth and the Lord and Great Spirit above for providing for all of us, for all this time and for now and hopefully the morrow. For your gracious gifts and grace we are grateful and now give thanks.

So thus thank you for your attention to this matter and here ends the Annual Galactic Year State of Mammality Address.

Sincerely and humbly...

A Fellow Human Mammal, AGJ.  More >

 How Spirit Becomes Matter

There is essentially no difference between what appears to be two things, the only difference is in it's vibratory rate.

From the smorgasbord that life spreads before us we choose our beliefs and by so doing we choose our reality. We think it into being; we ‘feel’ it into being. We attract what we most focus on, believe in and take for granted.  More >

 Is Humanity Insecure?7 comments

Is Humanity Insecure?

What is humanity trying to proove or gain by all its exploits or are we simply fumbling in the dark of our insecurity or are we perhaps simply insignificantly complex or then again are we simply insecure because we seem alone in the Universe and have all our eggs in the basket of the earth.

This thread sort of ties three previous ones together. The consumer identity one. The new Earth one and the Human stupidity one.

I quess if I were to analyis the situation I would say yes human nature and humanity itself is basically insecure and perhaps or perhaps not with good reason. Or maybe its all of Mammality but we do the things we do in a sort of blind groping to gain some sense of our own value, power and worth. We make good and bad inventions in efforts to claim some kind of authority and credibility in the world and in the Universe because looking at us we see our aloneness and insignificance in the board Unverse. We are stupid out of blind insignificance, we surround ourselves and identities with material things to nullify our insecurity. yet at the same time we or some reach out to find ? some affirmation or confirmation in the Universe.

Hence the significance of Aprilla or Gliese 581c, the New Earth.
It is not totally necessary any longer to be totally insecure because we have a sign or affirmation of a sort that we are not alone here. Mammality is not alone in the Universe or less alone than it was.

So what does that mean... well it should be like finding a long lost brother we have now an opportunity to see ourselves in this. To find the sense of security we may have unconsciously been groping for. We have a new mirror of sorts and new place or companion in the Universe so we no longer need to be stupid or blind or materialistic or consumptive. We don't have to continue in our insecure and such ways.

Does anyone sort of grasp or understand this?

s it time to grow our souls? /// by Grace Lee Boggs ///

Easter Sunday morning I heard a fascinating talk on Spirituality by Karen Armstrong on CSPAN.
Karen Armstrong, often called “the runaway nun,” left the convent in her early 20s, turning her back on the “narrow gate” of religion. Fifteen years later, while working on a film on Jerusalem, she started investigating the origins of Judaism. This led to her studying and writing readable books on the history of different religions.

I discovered her work after 9/11 when I wanted to know more about Islam.

In her latest book, The Great Transformation: The Beginning of Our Religious Traditions, Armstrong explains how the great faiths (Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, the Upanishads, the Hebrew Prophets) emerged during the 700 years from 900-200 B.C. in countries like China and India, This was a period, sometimes called the ”Axial Age,” when societies on the Eurasian continent were undergoing a great transition: from tribalism, in which individuals were submerged in the community, to urban ways of living which challenged individuals to figure things out for themselves.  More >

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." -- Matthew 6: 33-34

There is a television advert for a furniture company whose sale always ends on Sunday. I often wonder which Sunday they're referring to. Next Sunday, first Sunday in March 2008, last Sunday in December 2010, first Sunday in Never?

People, including myself, are constantly saying "See you later." What do people mean by later? 1 minute later, 2 minutes, 10 minutes, 1 hour, 5 years later, in the after life, when?

What about when people say "I'll see you in a sec?" A second lasts only one moment and it's gone. That means most of us are lying.  More >

Nan-in, a Japanese master during the Meiji era (1868-1912), received a university professor who came to inquire about Zen.

Nan-in served Tea. He poured his visitor's cup full, and then kept on pouring.

The professor watched the overflow until he no longer could restrain himself. "It is overfull. No more will go in!"

"Like this cup," Nan-in said, "you are full of your own opinions and speculations. How can I show you Zen unless you first empty your cup?"

The Green Run

Soon after the Soviet Union exploded its first nuclear bomb in August of 1949, the United States decided it needed to learn more about the types of weapons its enemy was building. To find out, the Air Force conducted the Green Run experiment at the Hanford nuclear production plant.

On the night of Dec. 2, 1949, the plant "released three tons of irradiated uranium fuel that had been allowed to cool only 16 days," reports a declassified Department of Energy document. The release-aimed at duplicating pollution from a Soviet reactor-placed more than 7800 curies of radioactive iodine, well-known to concentrate in human thyroids, into the air of the Pacific Northwest. By comparison, the accident at Three Mile Island released only 15 curies of radioactive iodine.

DEPLOYMENT SCENARIOS

Could an intelligence or security expert involved in U.S. homeland security remote view to perceive and understand a terrorist threat? Could a platoon leader remote view over the next hill to see an ambush? Could a U.S. interrogator “know” that the person in his custody has terrorist connections, or that he is innocent, or that he knows more?

Or, could those in the field use remote viewing operators sitting somewhere else? Could a convoy route map be sent to the remote viewer for a check for IEDs or ambushes? Could a map of a target area be examined by a remote viewer to locate an enemy base camp? There are unlimited potential applications that can save lives and help accomplish missions now, and the missions to come.

Maybe personnel with remote viewing training should be assigned organizationally in the way medics, communications specialists, intelligence specialists, supply officers or others are assigned.

Remote viewing training could be made available to a wide range of personnel and the skill could be spread as widely as there were open minds.  More >
