|New Civilization News: Mind Enslavement|

I stay away from television and newspapers as much as is humanly possible, although I still absorb the memes through osmosis, I think.
Radio still gets to me, though hopefully not quite as thoroughly as the boob tube. Even the music is suspect, having been promoted by the big corps.
The new trend of self publishing music on the net is good, and offers some hope, but then we have "Mighty GooGle" that most of us go through to search fo info.
We must always be on the watch for where our sources of info come from and what is their agenda?
I noticed Vidal mentioned on another blog. I'm reading his historical novel, "Burr". Ever read that? An interesting and alternative view of the founding fathers and their true colours is on display within those pages.
See ya. I'm about 2/3 through it...
20 May 2008 @ 15:31 by vaxen : No...
jm...Ihaven't read Burr but will hunt it down. Am reading Dr. Cory Doctorows' "Little Brother" at the moment and plan on giving you a link to the .pdf so you can d/l it, too, if that is a possibility for you where you are. Have been researching the way my mind is affected by 'social networking' sites and hype.
Have been making some astounding observations and feel like running away and joining Russel Means and his krewe in the Lakota Dakotas...but, don't kid yourself, 'they,' our so called 'red' brothers are just as friggin mind controlled by consumerism et al as we are.
It's literally in the waves, radio frequencies, in which we swim...the bioelectromagnetosphere wherein we get shape shifted or do the shape shifting infinitomorphically according to the warp and weave of beyondoverse...
I think you'd enjoy 'Little Brother' as it is well written and about the very subject which is consuming the planetoshpere called Earth at a seeming fantastic rate of 'speed.' Speed kills...so does puffed rice. Ahem...
Any program whose name starts with $SYS$ is invisible to the
operating system. it doesn't show up on listings of the hard drive,
nor in the process monitor.
BTW here's the link where you can download "Little Brother."

21 May 2008 @ 08:35 by shreepal : Open and not shut minds
You want to close the gate of your mind from the flood of onrushing ideas (foolish and not so foolish and of as many categories as you label them) from outside world occupied (dominated in mutual conspiracy) by all sorts of people! How can you do it? Any way, Who are you? You are already made up from outside influences; your family's interaction with you, your school's influence. books you read, friends you meet... (the list of outside sources is endless). How can one cut-off completely from these foreign influences? In fact, it is only a process of interaction and the only way left to you is to contribute your bit with the power that you have at your disposal. Say always what you feel and let others be free to judge it. In this way you are contributing; and you are distributing to others what you have in your mind. You are a person, you have mind and so your ideas, you have money to project them (so that you earn more money)and then you, or your ilk, dominate the society around you (and now globally); all are free and no body can stop others; the only thing you can do is to contribute your bit for a change. And, that is the whole purpose, the rationale, of NCN.
21 May 2008 @ 15:24 by vaxen : Who...
am I, shreepal? I am me. I am not a 'person.' That is an office of 'government' and comes from the Latin word 'persona' which means 'mask.' I am a flesh and blood human being. Homo sapiens sapiens, if you will. I do not use their insurance script, called money, and envisualise a world operating completely without it on free energy not exploited by the business class!
Say always what one feels and one will end up in jail rather quickly in modern Amerika or Britain or the Punjab or...Delhi. Be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove. Silence...is golden.
To know, to will, to dare, to be...silent. AUM Mane Padme HUM. Sat-Dharma Pundarika Sutram. AUM Shri Kling Vijay! Thanks shreepal...I know what NCN is about. Ithas not evolved to the level of 'social net (Web 3.0),' just yet...but may in the future. It may not...

been molded in quite a while..
28 May 2008 @ 19:16 by vaxen : Sigh...
deliciously naughty *grin from Lady Skookum. Sorry you haven't been molded in such a long time [Moldey are ya? ;)] but...that's isn't my fault...is it? Maybe it is! Nice to see that you are still wondering about the ghostie halls of the ancient space hulk otherwise known as NCN. It had its' day in the sun. Cosmic darkness is meant only for the most intrepid of explorers which, of course, we are...
The semantics of social nets is getting an upgrade as the WC3 gets madder and madder and madder and MIT basks in it's own delusions of being relative to anything we are... sigh, sough, sing...
Sing, sought, sought...
Long live the new English!

Drink, drought, drought!
28 May 2008 @ 19:21 by a-d : Skooki,
you crack me up!...wide open to LIFE! THANKS!!! You're the BEST (together with our Baby Boy Vax! `_* *_* : )
Vax, I'm going to 'borrow' your aaaticle & post on my site, eh? ('ll bring it back to u next week. Maybe. ; ) ))
29 May 2008 @ 16:10 by vaxen : Heh!

30 May 2008 @ 08:57 by ashanti : Just stopping by....
...this old ancient spaceship.....indeed. Find out who you are, then be true to yourself. The rest is just mutable matter. Love to all, Ashanti.
30 May 2008 @ 13:18 by vaxen : Ashanti!
Good to see you Lady K. Interesting that you should mention earth as starship. Yes! Why is it that few can see that? Indeed the whole system is a starship. And we are headed? Are we the mothership or a lifeboat? Who one is can be a double edged sword. The 'law' maintians one position and your genetic code another...good to know both. A flesh and blood human being, not a person (Office of state), is a good start.
Corporations are legal fictions thus allowing them to define you in their 'legalese' denigrates your humanity and enslaves you to the corporate lie.
Voters register and know not what they do! Flesh and blood human beings are innately free and self governing, self determining, biological entities...
And how's the weather in Capetown Ashanti san?
30 May 2008 @ 14:12 by ashanti : Corporations and Cape Town
Corporations exist purely to enrich themselves with illusory power and matter, they are designed to be destructive to humans and the planet - it is in their nature, they cannot do otherwise. Cape Town is rainy, beautiful as ever, despite the Ugly South Africans (see my blog for latest entry). Love you, fellow celestial being!
31 May 2008 @ 08:27 by celestial : BEWARE
Beware the lie stored within the strategic part of the mind.
The television is a mass hypnosis tool; it's product is an illusion which your mind perceives to be the truth!
Excellent post, Vax!
12 Jun 2008 @ 06:43 by vaxen : Ancient space....
Since space is a function of time and time is a function of music I thought I'd take a break from plying around with the celestial spheres and organize a HELLO from me to y'all. Been offline for thirteen days and finally teched in to reestablishing net space after a strange and bizzarro crash which left me...limbs akimbo for thirteen days. But they say it is hard to keep a good man down so...
Got a call from Capetown way, Ashanti san, from a nice fellow gone bonkers with his Afrikanners and it was fun hearing the old Langage again. Nice offer, too...on that we must 'mum' it 4 now. But I'd love to be in Capetown round about now in the meat puppet not just astrally. ;)
Thanks celestial and I'm glad you enjoyed the article. Hope I'll be able to keep this bird in the air for awhile again. Sure I will!
Good to be back...

wow.. imagine my youngest lol
14 Jun 2008 @ 16:53 by vaxen : Skookum!
Hiya skookum. It is a good thing that you can still do that skookum. The overall crunch is coming down worldwide as we enter the last phase of the Armageddon scenario's which were semantically imbedded for us into our neuro-linguistic schemata ages ago. We toss them out along with their progenitors. Nice! Sweet!
In any case it is nice to know you are well and doing so admirably in these times...and that your youngest will be going to schule. Don't let him forget his yarmulka. ;)
Later lady skookum.

straight A's for the two younger boys.. and graduation for my daughter
15 Jun 2008 @ 14:34 by vaxen : Wow...
I'll bet your daughters' graduation comes as a ... surprise? I mean just a few short years ago she was so very tiny ... now...
And in another little while the sons will be gone out into the world, grandchildren coming to visit grandma and ... where did all the time go?
Melissas' garden of wonderment...
16 Jun 2008 @ 02:15 by skookum : well.. she is next to oldest
being 22 .. not so young.. jr college done with.. going to the big college next fall
I can only hope they will all go out into the world eventually lol
oh someday.. i hope to have a nicer home.. and a nicer man in my life..
oh gee.. i sound like a musical
18 Jun 2008 @ 14:23 by vaxen : Heh, heh...
Scripted by Ron Howard. The musical that is. Yeah...you are very musical. Are you going to trade the old man in for a newer model or do we see a robot in your future?
With the BCI (Brain Computer Interface) becoming richer and richer every year that will soon be more than just a possibility. You won't know if the person sleeping next to you is or isn't a...robot! ;) Heh...maybe we're there already Melissa?
NCN seems colder than ever before or is it just me? Am using the new Firefox three but I'm not all that impressed. Opera still beats it to heck. But who wants to go there, eh? Love ya Melissa. Garden doing well?
19 Jun 2008 @ 02:22 by skookum : I have been sleeping
alone for ten years.. booted his ass out then.. he lives next door.. too poor to divorce...
at least this way he HAS to support his four kids
garden is doing ok.. a lot in pots.. andrew was too sick to till earlier.. he might do some for the fall garden
22 Jun 2008 @ 14:25 by vaxen : Marissa, Melissa...
I don't know why I persist in calling you Melissa! Sorry bout that Marissa. And if he is too poor to support "his" four kids then how does he do it? Ah...Marissa does it all for him. That's love/hate or???
I guess one can get used to most any kind of torture but it leads to PTSD eventually and other untoward states. But that's your bag of nuts regardless of how much I sympathize with your desire to rid yourself of old hats. Garden sale? Yard sale? Tea market?
Didn't wishya a happy solstice so I'm doing it belatedly, Marissa. Actually I love the name Marissa more than Marissa. Do words have flavors for you Marissa?
22 Jun 2008 @ 18:09 by skookum : OH... as for PTSD
I am almost all well from THAT. A combination of meditation, good friends and time. I did have some therapy for that too, though it wasn't a very severe case. I admit to being a bit lonely at times, but I buck up and count my blessings. All things change....eventually.
Happy solstice... a hot whopper here .. ack...
23 Jun 2008 @ 14:52 by vaxen : Yes...
Was a hot whopper here too. But...we didn't get the forecasted rain so I happied out. So how do you like twitter? There is much more there than meets the eye. Type in an 'interest' to the search function and it should pull up a list of names who share like interests or...click on interesting faces, like I did, to begin with...
Meditation, good friends, time... still, no one seems to know and the depth of the trauma really rather dictates the whether or nots. Check out Karla Turners works if you get time, skookum. Phd. Abductee. Her whole family. She isn't the only one, of course. No, they aren't the only ones...
Shell Shock... not the same as PTSD but they have so many stupid little names for their methods of madness don't "they?" "Who are "they?" - Martin Heidegger
23 Jun 2008 @ 16:55 by skookum : well I would hardly
call my case as severe as most
just some trauma from a wacko husband
I had an uncle with shell shock.. poor fellow never really recovered I heard.. from WW2
I actually feel if I had been a bit tougher and world-wise I could have handled the situation I was in a lot better.
ps just downloaded her books in pdf on her memorial site
24 Jun 2008 @ 09:17 by vaxen : Yahu!
Thanks for downloading her books, skookum. It is an amazing story. I'm sure you'll relate to their experiences. I was diagnosed with PTSD, too, as the result of traumas endured during the Vietnam fracas. Then 9 years in the middle east and a few in Russia didn't help matters out that much. Neither did the in and outs from China to China back again around the horn and some time spent in Africa for good measure...a whirlwind tour.
The last judge I went up against for my using Mary G as preferred treatment for PTSD was aghast and very sympathetic towards me allowing me to set my own price for the fine. Heh!
Of course there is more to the PTSD then meets the eye. Early youth, training, abductions, contact etc., not to mention my very in depth study of Magick and the Occult...and requisite initiations into various 'Orders.' What a life!!! So now I twitter and spend ungawdly amounts of online relative timespace continuum stuff tweaking things like Firefox 3 and FLock 2 beta 1... to usability. It's a challenge since I'm so far out in the sticks and DSL doesn't get here and Sattelite must be 'hacked' (Shhhh!) ;)...
After you read her books I'd be interested in what you feel about the whole subject. Time allowing discourse, of course.

I'd have to say that I agree with skookum on that one. Ecstasy is animal tranquilizer. Nice thing to take mixed with acid, eh Istvan? Nice to see you again bro! Hope all is well with you and yours...

29 Jun 2008 @ 19:43 by skookum : you talking about

29 Jun 2008 @ 20:08 by vaxen : skookum!
Surely you aren't the great white rabbit? You don't live in a wormhole either, right? Your house is your house so be proud of it! ;) Heh, heh...steam off for the day.
Twitter is beginning to twittersuck and I'm having a blast with Firefox 3 - as well as Flock2beta1 (reconfiguring it to be more like Firefox 3! ;)) So...
You simply must try this *nixy (Unix like) Google command line shell.
Type h , for help, at the command line and you'll get a bunch of commands you can use to ... well, gmail! The gmail insterface is absolutely fantastic for one such as I to play around with so...
There is much more you can do ... nice toy. A shell is a shell is a shell is ecstasy! http://goosh.org/ (It's unofficial thus - sweet!)

29 Jun 2008 @ 20:10 by vaxen : PS:
Your awareness right now is beginning to take back control of your life which has been stolen from you.
Is your mind in love or attached to any physical object? If so, you have been conditioned. Are desires, cravings, attitudes or opinions clouding your attention? If so, your senses are playing on the desires and cravings created by others. You are being moved about like an emotional rag doll. Now think how long it took you to lose control of yourself. It started with your parents and your grandparents.
It was a slow methodical process of programming you out of your own true identity.
Modify, impair or change the human brain and you reduce, increase, or modify the mind's ability to function autonomously. Your mind needs you to take charge of your desires and cravings. To do this you have to attach your mind to the greatest thought that exists. The thought of your own unique identity, inner peace and freedom.
