A closer look at each of four quarters
of the outer ring of the Aztec Calendar.
Here at the bottom are the faces in profile of the
Lord of Darkness and the Lord of Light
each emerging from the mouth of a Serpent.
The semi-circle of each serpent's body
extends around the perimeter of the Calendar
and they meet tail to tail at the top.
